"Room was very dirty. Carpet had lots of stains as well as vomit stains on the chair. Room had a bad smell. Air conditioning leaked onto carpet making it wet in front . Interior needs a complete refresh. Housekeeping never cleaned the room while we were out as well"

"Very beautiful cabin! Really nice and thoughtful touch with all of the decorations. Very secluded, you can hear nature all throughout. If you’re looking to unwind and get away for a while, this is the place! The jacuzzi was relaxing even in the warm weather; and a fire pit, which we made s’mores in (yum). We went to blue ridge lake which is about 20-30 minute drive, very worth it! Keep in mind this cabin is on a steep hill. My only recommendation is to have blinds in the upstairs windows near the living area and kitchen. Otherwise, John was a great host and checked in on us during our stay. 10/10. Oh, we also stayed with two younger children and it was suitable for them as well, we all enjoyed our time!"
