Your site described the hotel at an 8.2 (very good) but it was disgusting. The bathroom was nasty with bodily fluids on the walls in multiple locations, it smelled of urine, soap tray wasn’t cleaned from previous use, toilet seat was loose, towels were worn, tissue holder was rusty and fell off when you pulled out a tissue. After the front fell off the tissue holder we noticed the inside of it was very dirty.
The selves of the refrigerator were cracked and broken. The bed skirts haven’t been cleaned because it looked like food or something was stuck on them. The bed covers were worn and the phone by the bed was dirty, had cigarette burns on it and was discolored. We couldn’t find any charging stations. The security latch was snapped off the main door which was concerning. The main room was not throughly cleaned and there was a hole in the wall. Nothing has been updated since the 70’s.
The advertised pool had pond scum floating on it, not properly filled and was obviously not maintained. The outside of the building and stairwells were not maintained. We realize this is an economy hotel and didn’t expect anything fancy but we expect cleanliness and maintenance. We expected more from the Wyndham name which was advertised on your site, on the sign and in the room but were disappointed and repulsed.
