the bed was awful, every edge was collapsing was like sleeping on a v. i told them this on check in they said they could give me nothing else since i booked the double room, and they had no more of those avail. we were next to a group of dudes who were cooking at the front door. they were noisy at times. we stayed on year previous and the room( other side of hotel was beautiful!) thats why we came back. the lobby is nice, the lady who is in charge at night was so so nice. the breakfast was good. the pool looked decent. but both the beds were shot. also my bed had a plastic cover over matress like a piece of vinyl i know it had horrendous stains under it, i couldnt bring myself to look or photo it. i should have,but these places have you over the coals. i am sure they would have moved us for our second night. but we had whole car unloaded for a ski trip. we will know better next year. i told the lady at front desk that this would all be known on my review. and i was nice about it. they just didnt care . - like you paid this great price so thats what you get.

The bathroom was not really clean. There was dirt and stuff behind the door as if the cleaner did not look behind it. The beds were clean. The lobby is very nice and had a fire going. The breakfast area was clean and orderly.

First, I would like to say that the woman at the front desk was very kind & did her best to accommodate us. However, I was extremely disappointed with the cleanliness and overall upkeep of the rooms.Upon initially entering the first room we were assigned, we did not even step inside because the floor was extremely dirty. I immediately returned to the front to report the issue. The staff member apologized & explained that they were short-staffed & under new ownership, then reassigned us to the room next door. She kindly walked with me to ensure the television was working. At a quick glance, the floor appeared acceptable, and we left to attend our reservations.When we returned later & used the bathroom, I noticed the toilet was dirty with visible hair on it, & the roll of toilet paper was nearly empty, indicating it had not been replaced after the previous guest. When I opened the fridge, it was also in very poor condition, with sticky residue throughout. I had to clean it myself before storing our belongings.Additionally, all of the pillowcases had black stains on them. Fortunately, I bring my own bedding. We also experienced repeated issues with the room key cards not working. Each time we returned to the room, the keys failed & had to be reactivated at the front desk. This happened at least twice.This experience was especially disappointing because we have stayed at Green Granite for the past 10 years & have never encountered issues like this before.

The end is quite old, although clean and comfortable. The staff is delightful and quite helpful. The breakfast was quite good with healthy (low sugar, salt, carbohydrate options.) alternatives. Restaurant options within walking distance and overall the neighborhood was quite nice. The busy road nearby is not audible from the room. A very good choice if you’re in that area and are on a budget.

The staff was very friendly and courteous. We were a family group staying there with 5 rooms and 6 children. They put us near each other on the first floor which was great. The part of the inn that we stayed in was very dated. I think the floors had a wood subfloor that when the kids would walk in the room you could feel it in other areas. I think the carpets need an upgrade as there was a smell in the halls. If you want room service you need to make a request, it doesn't happen automatically each night. The kids enjoyed the pool. A hot breakfast was served buffet style and different items were available each day. Day 1 had scrambled eggs, cheese omelet, turkey sausage, hash browns, cereals, fruit and yogurt, bread, bagels, toppings, hot brewed coffee, hot chocolate, OJ and apple juice. Day 2 had scrambled again, french toast, biscuits and gravy, and the rest of the items above. Not sure if there was any meat as I didn't partake of that part of the buffet.

I’ve stayed here many time before and this was by far the worst experience. I usually stay in the rooms with independent balconies and have never had issues. This time I stayed in a room not far from the desk and the room was dirty, looked like the floor had never been vacuumed. Things were broken, walls had chipped paint, light switches didn’t work and outlets were loose so chargers wouldn’t stay plugged in. The only reason I gave 3 stars was because the staff were extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.

Hello Jennifer and Margaret, I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and concern regarding the condition of the room my husband, our 7-year-old twins, and I checked into last night. Upon arrival, we walked into a room that was completely unacceptable: No towels Sheets that appeared unchanged Food and crumbs on the floor and inside drawers No phone in the room to reach the front desk I attempted to call down multiple times with no answer. Expedia also tried contacting the hotel on my behalf, but they too were unable to receive assistance from anyone on staff. When I spoke with Margaret, she was wonderful and understanding. She assured me the room would be fully cleaned and stripped with fresh linens, and she also provided a $70 credit, which I would like confirmation or a receipt for. I left the room so housekeeping could take care of the issues, only to return—while trying to get ready for the Polar Express—to find that nothing had been done. I was then told by a woman with glasses that the room could not be touched because my belongings were inside. I have never heard of such a policy, and if this is your procedure, I should have been clearly informed earlier. When I went back to the front desk to address this, the same woman was dismissive and rude, stating there was nothing that could be done. Another staff member with blonde hair apologized but explained that no resolution could be offered until Margaret

The hotels rooms were very dark. Poor lighting. Had ask for light bulb. The chain lock on the door was broken. The flooring by the sink was pealing up the bathroom fan didn't work. The room all over was extremely dusty. Because we booked through Expedia we feel as though they gave us the crappiest room. Third party as I was told at check in. We have staed here 15 years ago, that why we picked to stay again and was very disappointed in our experience this time and will never again stay here.

Safety os a joke.the hallwaydoors are kept inlocked. The room had no chain. And the door going to outside had seemed easily openable. So you sleep between ² easy access points. Every sheet and pillow case had some type of stain on it. Most surfaces are dusty. Bathroom shower toilet room had mold. Not properly swept or cleaned. I had tk scrub the shower with lysol wipes and it atill had scum. The towels and shower curtain had stains. You have to go at breakfast time to get normal sized towels and to have the room cleaned. Dont miss the sighn at check in or you will annoy the front sdesk person. The heater is super loud and not efficient at all. When i tried tk mention theses things i got an ooo ok and an eye roll. We got a feal and got what we paid for! Never again!

Checked in & reservation was for two rooms. I requested we have connecting rooms and was told, “we have none available those are occupied and won’t be able to offer the connection” long shot here but one would THINK if one person is booking two rooms more then likely they like them to be connected. Poor planning!!! when we got to the room smelled of cigarettes. Room was very dirty carpets had not been vacuumed, we found nail clippings!! Lighting for the rooms are wall lights and lamp only! Most of the bulbs were out, very dark and dimmed and different wattage. Probably an attempt to hide the disgusting condition. Bathrooms were not cleaned properly! Toilet base and floors were not cleaned properly still songs of urine and hair and trash on the floor. Wasn’t swept or wiped clean. Shower curtain was gross!! As I proceeded to pick up the phone to contact the front desk it was so dirty I couldn’t even bring myself to use it. I decided to walk back downstairs to discuss it with staff. They were quickly able to get us another two rooms same staff member that said no connection rooms were available suddenly said “let me see if there’s any available”(umm I thought it was stated 10mins ago there wasn’t) must not been we didn’t get them. This room was cleaner however it could’ve been better. The carpet didn’t have any nail clippings, shower curtain was still gross. Lights were still out & different wattage/color in their lamps.
