Hakone Gora KARAKU
Beautiful resort with great hospitality and amenities. The only critique I have is that, especially for this price, I feel like all guests who request the shuttle service to/from the train station should be offered it. The Fujiya Hotel
Fantastic place with some of the best staff I’ve ever seen at a hotel. The Spa is definitely worth going to to soak in the hot baths.

Hakone Kowakien Mikawaya Ryokan
Nice place, but dinner and breakfast take very long (traditional but long). It was overall an amazing experience, but the place is slightly old and in the rooms you can see marks on walls.

The Prince Hakone Lake Ashinoko
Our stay was amazing! Loved the onsen and dinner experience at the Japanese restaurant on site. Also very easy access to Mt Komagatake Ropeway, where we got excellent views to Mt Fuji at the top!

Prince Smart Inn Atami
Clean room. Most of the staff are nice and helpful especially Mr. Yamamoto. He is very nice and considerate. One of the day we stayed was raining heavily and our shoes got wet. He worried that we'd be cold and took the initiative to lend us an electric kettle to boil water.

Taken to room we had not booked with a broken bed in it. Had to explain room we booked was Tatami/Japanese not western. ...
