Good hotel near Gora - you can take shuttle or walk 15” up some steep sets of stairs if you are up for some exercise; most common areas look newly updated in last several years; nice private Onsrn on room balcony was used a lot!

Hakone Ashinoko Hanaori
Great room and a beautiful resort! The buffet breakfast and dinner get repetitive after the first day, so two nights in Hakone feels just right. The highlights were the yukata and the onsen—super relaxing. The public onsen, in particular, was fantastic!

The Fujiya Hotel
The hotel and our room was so beautiful and the service was great. While all of the staff were great, we were really impressed by the trainee bell hop who helped us carry all of our luggage and was very sweet. Highly recommend!
