We are Queens locals who stayed here for 2+ weeks while our house was undergoing renovations. Pros: great value for the price considering it's a Marriott-owned hotel brand, hot foods breakfast including a premium cereal bar (granola, pumpkin seeds, etc), 24/7 coffee, heat and hot water worked perfectly through the blizzard of 2026, valet parking, street parking is available too if you're not parking too late at night, gritty/urban neighborhood which adds to the flavor for travelers to the "big city", just blocks away from a waterfront park where you can take amazing nighttime photos of Manhattan, overall high quality hotel finishes that you'd expect of a Marriott-owned brand, lots of small food places and a bodega (convenience store) between hotel and where you exit the subway at 21 St/Queensbridge, rooms have microwave/fridge/TV Cons: small rooms, breakfast can get very packed, urban light manufacturing and power generation district instead of a residential neighborhood, not a lot of pedestrians at night, exercise caution and be safe particularly at night

Room was good, breakfast amazing, staff great until our last night the bartender was very rude and yelled at us, confronting us for something that wasn’t even said. And when we told him we will speak to a manager the next day, his answer was: “go ahead, is not like they will do anything to me”. Very arrogant, he should not be in customer service at all.

Pros- close to public transportation; room generally in good condition; most staff were courteous. Cons- Hotel's boiler broke down and no hot water was available for 2 days in the middle of a winter storm. While it is understandable that boilers do break down, their contingency plans or customer service in terms of dealing with such fiasco could be vastly improved. While some employees in the front desk were reasonable and empathetic, others weren't. Management should work on providing appropriate training to these folks in terms of how to deal with customers under such circumstances. While we did receive some compensation for the lack of hot water for 2 days, it took some back and forth. Expedia was great in helping with the situation.

My experience was not the best due to the hotel. There was only freezing cold water in the bathrooms for half of our stay as well as the water was super dirty it was not clear water! This itself is a huge hygiene issue and we had babies and children with us! We faced troubles with the elevator: 1. There were only 3 which weren’t enough and the queues were insane 2. One of the elevators was not functioning properly and would get stuck every now and then. The breakfast buffet did not have enough varieties and had only pork beef every single day, which obviously does not meet everyone’s preferences. Also, the place where the dining was wasn’t big enough to accommodate the number of guests in the hotel. It was literally all about queuing for everything, from food, to beverages, to elevators. On the other hand, the employees were very nice and the house keeping was great.

1. Lack of Hot Water For the first two nights of our stay, there was no hot water available in the room. As a result, neither my wife, my children, nor I were able to shower for two consecutive days. When hot water was eventually restored, the water appeared white and cloudy, which raised serious concerns about the cleanliness and maintenance of the boiler or water heater system. 2. Poor Air Quality and Maintenance After three days, both my wife and I began experiencing continuous sneezing while staying in the room. Upon contacting room service and requesting inspection, the air filter was found to be extremely dirty and heavily clogged with dust. This condition should have been addressed prior to guest occupancy, especially considering health and comfort standards. 3. Laundry Room Facilities The laundry room had only one operational washing machine, while the second machine was out of service. This caused a wait time of approximately one hour, which was highly inconvenient for guests relying on these facilities during an extended stay. 4. Elevator Safety Issue One of the elevators malfunctioned during our stay, resulting in my wife being trapped inside until staff manually operated the elevator to release her. This incident was distressing and raises serious concerns regarding guest safety and equipment maintenance.

Don’t ever come here!!!!! Very rude employees. Especially the black lady who works overnight from Thursday to Monday night, she kept having attitudes! And breakfast was gross, very unorganized. The hotel guest were rude and selfish and block the elavator. And the staffs did not try to arrange. The area was very unsafe. A lot of crazy people around.

Not located in the best area. Room was extremely hot, even after lowering the thermostat. Had to turn on the AC to make it bearable. Our blackout blinds were broken and could not be lowered. We had no hot water in our shower. The front desk sent an engineer to our room who told us to wait to shower bc everyone else on the hotel was showering. He proceeded to explain to us how hot water heaters work, and basically again told us to wait or take a lukewarm shower. The wait for the elevators was so long, we decided to walk down the 16 flights down to the lobby. The line for breakfast buffet was out the door of the dining room. The only bright spots were that the front desk staff and valets were friendly and professional. Too bad they have terrible facilities. Would not recommend.
