Room was comfortable and clean. Staff was friendly, efficient and helpful. Breakfast was good. Fitness center was in part of hotel undergoing renovation. About 5 miles from airport. There is a shuttle but I didn't use it. I had a rental car and was able to get a parking spot when I needed one but it cost $20/day and parking appeared to be very limited, so I was concerned about what I would have done if none was available. Maybe there is offsite parking somewhere. I didn't get around to asking, but if you're going to be driving I suggest that you verify that parking will be available.

Though it was a little further away from the subway and Citi Field, the staff, service, the cleanliness was great. I would recommend it to everyone.

Everything was great about this property, very clean and breakfast was pretty good, good variety to choose from cereal, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, sausages, bacon, yogurt, bagels etc.. One tip I would give people is to wake up early for breakfast because certain things they might of offered that day if they're out, they wont restock. Like the yogurt or fruit cups they might out put out that day. Everything about this hotels was great except that I would of loved it if they're rooms were a little more "sound proof" I guess you can say... the doors of the rooms shut pretty loud and hard and since room doors have a small gap under door it sounds VERY LOUD in the room when peoples doors shut and people are in hallways talking. I dont know if its a travelocity deal thing but seems like every time I book travelocity I get a room right by the elevators which are pretty loud areas... Also, if you want to take the subway to times square I recommend to def. wait for shuttle its a long walk to the nearest subway, to me it was about 30min or so. The front desk will probably say 15 min like they told me but IT WAS A LOT FURTHER THAN 15 MINUTES. The R train will take u straight to times square and back. Area was pretty safe, and mall and restaurants near subway station where shuttle picks up and drops off.

I really need to stop using Travelocity for hotels,don’t like to give refunds or exchanges.I was at the wrong hotel and needed to be closer to a different airport but they don’t exchange or refund so I had to stay far from my departure airport

Hotel in a terrible location

We did NOT stay at this hotel. After arriving and pulling into a handicap parking spot, we are told that we have to pay an additional $14/night fee for valet parking. We are both handicapped and felt this was unsatisfactory after paying such a large fee for our rooms. We also had requested a handicap room but was not listed in our reservation. I tried to cancel our reservation with Travelocity but was told I could not without a large penalty. We will not be doing any future business with Travelocity.

Hotel is being updated I guess would be the term.

Pros: Close to airport. And had shuttle.
Cons: Cleanliness.
Coffee maker did not work. Shower was not clean.

Staff was very friendly. Hotel was nice and clean. Good breakfast. Confirmation said double beds but they were queen sized. A very nice surprise. Thought it said microwave but there wasn't one. Business center (if you want to call it that) left a lot to be desired. Computers in lobby and were very slow. Had a fax come in but they didn't have any toner...and did not get any! Had to contact the sender to email everything the next day.
