Near everything downtown had to offer. What I didn't like was: 1) The hotel desk nor bar would provide change, that I might tip housekeeping. 2) Mandatory check out @ noon, though my flight didn't leave until 8pm. 3) No TV on Tuesday, the 27th of December. 4) Microwave, a mandatory condition in choosing this hotel, wasn't available until a day and a half later. 5) Smell of marijuana constantly seeping in my room. 6)Housekeeping, removed hand towels, didn't leave replacements. Didn't get replacement until 12 hours later. 7) Curtains need attention, some hooks are missing, a blind person could see this. Still my trip was great, and my room is partially responsible for this. Grateful to the staff person that took the time to try and give me room location I requested, the bed was amazing. Please don't ignore the points I've made about what wasn't right. This hotel could warrant a higher rating. I said "Excellent" because I had that kind of time, but what needs fixing, needs fixing. Because you're a big major city doesn't mean you stop caring about little things. I would definitely stay here again.

The front desk was pleasant enough, but the valet service is terrible. Not only was it confusing during check in with nobody out there and no signs to tell us what to do, but check out was a disaster - same thing - nobody there, valet door closed, no way to give them the 30 min notice. We lost at least 45 minutes getting out of there.

Check in was okay. After 1st night, came back to no service to the room. Was told we had to request but were never informed at check in. I then requested service on 2 occasions, no service to the room so I gave up asking. We stayed from Monday and checked out on Sunday (today). No towels, wash clothes after numerous requests; even to the manager. Room was not cleaned the entire stay even though I requested. Had to improvise with showering and request toilet paper each time since we had no service to the room. Called to arrange for a cab. They gave me a number to call. I would NEVER stay at this hotel again. Customer service sucks at this place. For the price paid, they ought to be doing better. Who the hell does not have wash clothes for guests. This is no stars for me. A big fat zero. Before checking out, I let it be known how I felt about the lack of service and warned that I’d be posting a bad review. Note to self; check reviews before booking your stay

customer service, the phone, the furniture was broken. Nothing in the room. The keys didn't work. The ice machines didn’t work. The printer in the office didn’t work. Very noisy neighbors.

I usually stay @ even hotel when visiting but my aunt recommended Holiday inn. I think she picked it because of the name, This was a BIG disappointment for me . The staff was not that friendly, no smiles they did not make you feel excited about your stay. If you don't approach them with a question they do not acknowledge you wondering around the lobby . The only staff that was pleasant was the lady that issued me more towels, wish I knew her name to say a big thanks you .I am not sure if this location doubles as a homeless shelter but they were several people hanging in front and some where seen in the lobby the staff did not bat an eye so it looked like it was the norm for this location. the halls were noisy at night and there is a loud clicking banging not sure if it was the elevator or a/c unit . I will never stay here again Even is right across the street and the environment there is totally different . I think your staff needs to be re-trained. for the rates charged you really need to step up your game. Shame on you .

So upon arrival there are no instructions on how to park your car which was a little frustrating. The whole lobby and my whole 4th floor reeked of marijuana. Upon checking in I always like to ask for a extra comforter due to my wife being pregnant the wait time on that was a hour. When we entered the room it smelled like somebody had previously smoked in the room, no bag for our ice bucket or the trash cans, one towel,no Chanel guide or any info panther about the hotel .. very dissatisfied with my stay
