Room was awful needed to be clean with Bleach and painted professionally also re caulking and grouting needed staff was ok room and clean was sub par at best and the Manager excuse was it's a party resort so they can't wash walls where the elevator is at and clean stainless steel with all the people traffic

Room wasn’t clean bed super uncomfortable but overall the quality of the food was really bad. Unfortunately wouldn’t recommend this place

I honestly hated this hotel. The rooms reeked of mildew the second you walk in it hits your nose instantly. They don’t even provide basic face towels unless you go ask for them. There’s no microwave in the room at all, which is ridiculous and super inconvenient. The “free food” was disgusting, and the drinks were just as bad. The service overall was terrible. They’re strict about leaving the property, which I get for safety, but everything else felt like a mess. They even double-charged my brother for WiFi. We stayed only three days, but they forced him to pay for the full week, and the staff didn’t care at all when I tried to explain. To make it worse, the toilet completely stopped working and wouldn’t flush. Honestly, I’d give the room a 5/10 at best and that’s being generous.

Room was not cleaned very well. AC unit was not working correctly and leaking water from the ceiling. Toilet kept running constantly.Changing rooms was a nightmare and they don't accommodate to make your experience better. Sheets feel wet and smell like mildew but it is a humid country. Staff doesn't speak English so be prepared to be turned away and figure it out on your own.

I reserved to beds and they had it only and one and when they resolved the issue, the clerk was asking for $$ for correcting the issue.After speaking with other patrons I was told this was happening to several customers. Many things were broken around the resort . Coffee makers, hand dryers, handles , The rooms where not cleaned properly and a majority of the staff where grumpy and sometimes rude , acting as if you where a bother when asked for anything . On a good note The grounds where well kept and the beach was beautiful and good food .

The maintenance to the rooms was very much unkept. There was leaking and condensation coming from the vents causing wet floors. The air conditioning had a mind of its own. Not so much the staff, but the maintenance. The elevators were in horrible condition and weren't all working. The food for the most part besides breakfast was edible.

The staff at Riu were amazing! So friendly and helpful. We had an amazing vacation! We enjoyed the shows and the entertainment during our stay. The rooms and restaurants have very good AC. My only issue was the food labeling at the buffet. Often they were not matching with the food below them. As someone with dietary restrictions it was difficult to know if I could eat the food or not. Otherwise, the food was pretty good.

Hello, I am writing to formally report an issue with my recent stay. I booked and paid for a specific resort, but upon arrival I was informed it was overbooked. I was then moved to a different resort that did not match the quality, amenities, or experience of what I originally purchased. This change was made without prior notice and without offering comparable accommodations. It significantly impacted the value of my trip and the overall experience I paid for. Given that I did not receive the resort or level of service that I booked, I am requesting appropriate compensation, which may include a partial refund or credit, to reflect the difference in value and the inconvenience caused.
