Ok for price and location.

Normally we love staying at Hampton Inns, it is always the first place we look when booking a hotel because the rooms are always clean and comfortable. While the room was very clean, it wasn't very comfortable. The beds were like a trampoline and the room barely had enough walking room for my 4 person family. There was also something wrong with the door, you had to really slam it to get it to close (which I'm sure was not very pleasant for our neighbors). Breakfast was awful! There were so many people trying to eat in such a small space. You couldn't walk to get food without bumping into someone sitting at a table. If you were lucky enough to get to sit down and eat, you had to wait for the people around you to leave before you could get up from the table. Also, there was only one person working the breakfast area. As soon as she brought out the food item, a swarm of people would get up and clear that item. So unless you like being an aggressive person in line, be prepared to eat cereal. Not very impressed, but only had to stay here one night as we were traveling so it wasn't unbearable.

Nice hotel with a good breakfast.

Pros: I liked the location of this hotel. It was conveniently located near shops and attractions.
Cons: There is not a prominent sign outside the hotel. It is not easily identifiable. Some of the cab drivers took advantage of this fact.
Location: The hotel is conveniently located near a train station, to the 911 Memorial, Wall Street and quaint little shops near the Seaport.
The hotel staff was excellent and worked to make sure that guests had a pleasant stay. Each morning guests were greeted with a great breakfast in a cozy environment. The hotel rooms are not very large, but are comfortable as long as there are no more than two guests in the room.

Perfectly acceptable hotel with decent, clean room

Pros: Staff
Cons: Get ICON parking company to fire the employees at the parking deck!
Location: It's Manhattan! Lots of online references.
The standout at this hotel was the staff! Excellent! They were always welcoming and extremely helpful. We took their recommendations about our agenda and everything worked out great and saved us money. The only negative was not with the hotel, but with the parking deck across the street. They were extremely rude to me and other people parking there. They really cram the cars in there so the open the windows so they can crawl from one car to another. When I got my car back, there were tar footprints all over my driver seat, door panel, and on the front fender! What the hell were they doing???

Good Location for Seaport/Financial Dist Area

Pros: Loved the King-sized bed, very comfortable
Cons: The draw back for me, breakfast area was not laid out sufficently. The huge table in the center of the room hard to get around without bumping others.
Location: This hotel is in a great location if you are exploring the Seaport/Financial Dist. All of the major attractions for the Financial Dist.
I would stay again. I loved my room with the king-sized bed, the mattress was very comfortable. Room was clean. Staff very friendly and eager to assist in giving directions to closeby attractions.

Small and Friendly!

The staff was amazingly gracious and friendly! The room was nice and quiet if a bit small. The location was great for our needs, I hope the Seaport area fully recovers from Sandy soon. All in all had a great time!

Nice, clean hotel... excellent service. A bit hard to locate though.

This is a small hotel located practically under the Brooklyn Bridge. It is a nice, very clean hotel. The service (as described by other travelers) is excellent. The only drawback, be prepared to help your cabbie locate the hotel. Its location is not obvious to even those who otherwise know the area well.

Staff in this hotel are extremely friendly, courteous and ready to help. We felt as though we were at home!

Nice Location.

Pros: Free breakfast, Free Internet
Worth the extra money. The continental breakfast was a nice surprise. It had something to offer for all (including a waffle maker). The hotel was good for a family stay. The beds were queen size which was a plus. The subway station was a few blocks away.

Hotel location was fabulous.

Pros: Free breakfast, Quiet
Cons: roof being repaired could not access for view.
Hotel staff great with hospitality. Hotel location allowed great experience and all the sites as walking to Battery Park for Ellis Island access.
