Ours pools are seasonal and open from Memorial Day to Labor Day each season. We may open them sooner weather permitting.

Nice Hocking Hills Area Rental
Stayed for Thanksgiving weekend. Nice clean house. Queen or Regular bed in all 3 bedrooms. Enjoyed the hot tub. Internet worked fine for us all weekend. When we weren't touring the area or taking short hikes was able to use streamig services without issue. I always bring my own streaming device on these trips. Note that the house is in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains so cell coverage is spotty in this area (verizon no signal in the house), however with good internet/wifi at the house and wifi calling on my cell service, that was not an issue.

Perfect getaway
Pumpkin Ridge Villa is a perfect getaway destination. There are no neighbors in sight and the peace and quiet is only interrupted by the birds calling to each other. The hot tub and pool made the place the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The furnishings are comfortable and inviting.

Labor Day weekend.
Perfect for the family! Decent pool, sun all day. Enjoyed the property views and sunset. Definitely take advantage of the walk and view in the evening. Close to all the major parks in hocking hills.

Pool and master bath need work
The master bathroom does not have a door so you will not have privacy if you need to use it. The separate shower stall in the master bathroom needs to be fixed. The floor basin was painted (why I'm not sure) and the paint was peeling off. Where the shower floor attached to the shower walls there were huge gaps where the caulk was gone and it looked like the shower floor was pulling away and moldy. It looked like showering would actually cause more damage. Even if we wanted to shower in there (which neither of us did) there was no knob, just a metal rod sticking out of the wall where the knob should be. The pool liner was severely stained on the bottom, had multiple rips along the edges and actually had patches that didn't quite cover the holes. Then the pump actually broke mid stay and we had to call maintenance to stop the water from pouring out. The pool deck had some nails sticking out along the sides where you walk, which would be really dangerous if you didn't see them. We tried to make the most of our time away from home but it was not a pleasant experience. Everything in the house feels like it was pieced together with end of garage sale freebies, including the pool. Waste of my money.

Home Away From Home
We (family of 4) stayed for 4 days. It was so nice having all the leisure comforts of home when youre so far away. Comfy beds, plenty of toiletries, washer and dryer, and even a Keurig. The pool was so nice on the hotter days and the hot tub was a great way to close out a long day of hiking. And yes, its close to some really fun family activities (within 20-30 minutes). Kendra was pleasure to deal with and promptly replied with any questions or concerns we had before and during our stay. Highly recommend!

Memorial weekend at pumpkin ridge.
The pool was dirty and low water level. We had to roll up hose for pool cleaning. Hot tub didn't work right, the jets didn't work right. It never got warmer than 98 degrees, even after we called maintenance. There was mouse droppings in kitchen drawers. Tripped on wood plank from the deck that was not fasten down.

Nice country home
We were in town for a weekend event. The home was comfortable and conveniently located for the event. It fit our needs very well. If we attend the event next year, we hope to rent the home again. The home is out in the country. We did not have cell signal at the house (Spectrum) but we were able to use the wifi at the house to make internet calls. We cooked/prepared all of our meals at the house. The kitchen was equipped with cooking utensils but not the little things… foil, coffee filters, salt/pepper/seasonings, etc. Not a big deal, we found a store 20 minutes away and purchased what we were missing.

Great house, privacy from neighbors, and plenty away from civilization!
Spring break trip away with the husband, kids, and dog to unplug and getaway from the busy go go go life! If you’re looking for a nice family house, it’s perfect! Lots of activities for warm weather (big yard to play/ pool/ hot tub) grill, patio furniture, and about 20-30 minutes away from town. Expect of course as it’s the country bees/bugs/wasps all around because you are in the country! Bring everything you need (soaps, shampoos, condiments etc) and would recommend hitting the Walmart or grocery story before you get to property so you don’t have to run back out unless want to see what they have to cook with like we did. Have your directions for the house pulled up so you don’t lose service and know your code for the door before you arrive as internet is nonexistent until you get the WiFi code from inside to connect. Just tips that can be helpful when you arrive! Overall we had a fantastic time! Thank you so much for having us and hopefully can be back to enjoy the pool for summer!
