It was a place to sleep; however, the property seemed run down. Bathroom fixtures were loose and needed to be fixed. No handles on the kitchen cabinets. Refrigerator in room was dented all over and had marks all over it. The interior of the refrigerator was clean inside. They no longer provide "Do Not Disturb" signs. There were very few TV stations available. Elevators were stainless steel and all smeared up like someone used a dirty towel to clean them. We were told by the convenient IHOP nearby (next to the Ramada) that the prices of the hotel continued to go up everyday due to spring break for college students. (Week after Mardi Gras). Someone pulled the fire alarm a little after 2:00 AM in the morning. The fire department never showed up. We were told the police were called, but we never saw them show up. We didn't sleep well that night. It could have been a worse experience, but for $200/night, I expected more for my money. There was not even a coffee pot in our room.

First of all we called Hotel in advance in th eday ahead and also Extended Stay Customer service to let them know that we will be arriving late check in after 10 pm. Although we notify the front desk @ 504 837 5599, we find out when we arrive around midnight, our room sold to someone else and no room available!!! Front desk Ms Angela kindly ask us to look other hotels around. She said we are not the only one has same situation that day!!! we were stranded with 4 years old and two elderly 81 and 79 years old in-laws

Pros: customer service was outstanding
Cons: make sure rooms are completely clean
food left in refrig from previous customer. The toilet was not clean still had urine on it
