Location was great. Very clean. Very kind, professional staff. Excellent complimentary breakfast. But....must be very cautious walking at night because of all the homeless sleeping in the streets; construction makes it extremely hard to sleep; and can hear all the other doors open and close day and night, so again, hard to sleep. Good outweighs the bad and would stay again.

Thank you for taking the time to review us. I am happy to see you enjoyed our team and our breakfast. There are some less fortunate people in our city but thankfully it is still a safe city. We host our local police officers every morning for free breakfast as a thank you for their service and keeping our city streets safe. Unfortunately you are absolutely correct, there is construction all over Nashville including our neighbors across the street. I am so sorry it was difficult to sleep with all the noise. If you visit us again we would be happy to get you a room facing our atrium or the back of the building which are nice a quiet.

Had a great time in Nashville!

Pros: Friendly staff & great location.
Location: Downtown Nashville, within walking distance to many restaurants, bars & clubs. Country Music Hall of Fame was about 4 blocks. Felt very safe walking
We arrived a little after 11pm & the front desk gentleman was very polite. I think they were in the middle of changing shifts but were given our keys quickly. Didn't realize until the next day that he didn't tell us about the complimentary breakfast or the evening social. He also didn't give us any discount coupons which the day clerk Deisy seemed surprised about. We loved her, very helpful in giving us suggestions on what to see & recommendations for meals. The next day we left early and were out & about all day until 4:45, when we arrived back neither of our 2 rooms had been cleaned. We went down to the social, I had read something in the reviews about it so I knew they had one and our rooms were done by 5:30. The location of the hotel was excellent, only a few minutes of walking to many restaurants, attractions & bars. Overall a great trip!

Non Smoking, Not Really

Pros: The larger room.
Cons: Cleanliness, smell of smoke, have bath tubs or advertise it's shower only. Front desk staff training.
We checked into our "non-smoking room" 614, (I have major allergies) and it wreaked of smoke. When we called the front desk saying there had been a mistake, we were informed that there were no rooms to switch us to. There were cigarette burns on the bathroom wall, dirty curtains, dusty amenities- tv, desks, etc. After spending $300+ with parking we were very, very disappointed. Pros- breakfast and the room is spacious. Cons- dirty, smelly, poor front desk staff, poorly stocked snack bar, NO bath tub.

Nice Hotel in Heart of Nashville

Pros: Clean, comfortable and quiet room; good variety at the complimentary breakfast and welcome receptions and location.
Cons: Hot water took several minutes to get to our room and there is no convenient self-parking option.
Location: The hotel is less than 5 blocks from many restaurants; Broadway and Painter's Alley; Ryman Auditorium; Country Music Hall of Fame & Convention Center
We spent 4 nights at the Homewood Suites and found it to be well located, comfortable and a good value. While pricey for us, it apparently was about 1/3 less than other downtown hotels of comparable quality and amenities. We were able to walk to most places downtown in less than 10 minutes. The complimentary breakfasts and "Welcome Reception" both featured a good variety of items to choose from. The staff was friendly and well-informed. In addition to a large "suite" with full kitchen, we found the rooms to be both comfortable and quiet, despite being near the elevators and ice machine. The only items that were not what we expected were having to valet park our car (the advertised "self parking" is a bit misleading as the facility does not have its own facility for parking)and having to wait several minutes for hot water to make its way to our sink and shower faucets.

Good location

Pros: It was very historic but well done.
Cons: The mattress was soft.
Location: Country bars and music venues nearby. Ryman is a couple blocks away.
Staff were very attention and friendly....location is great which is probably why the price is also high. Great historic old building within a 3 block walk to the country venues (which are mainly too touristy for my taste).

2 day vacation

Pros: location
Location: Just up the hill from Broadway. Easy access off the interstate.
Good location, walking distance to Broadway. Valet parking only a few $$ more than self park and very prompt.

Great continental breakfast!

Pros: Breakfast is free, and so so yummy
Cons: Clean your carpets. My feet looked like i had walked around downtown barefoot after a night of walking around the room. NASTY.
Location: Within walking distance of everything the Music district has to offer!
The hotel is a good value for the location. The breakfast is amazing, however walk around the carpet barefoot and your feel WILL be black. SO gross!!! The staff is very polite- although I'm not sure they are entirely knowledgable. I called in advance to see what the kitchen was equiped with, twice- both times I was told nothing, and to bring my own pots and pans to be safe. FYI- they do provide pots and pans, and some silverware, and plates. Also, I asked if i could drop something in the mail- and was told, its informal- and to put it on the counter. Where it may or may not be picked up by the mail person....?

Huge disappointment!

The spas area was closed down by someone in the government. The stairwell had the smell of sewage and the room had an odor also. The staff was very nice, but was unable to do anything about my issues. The breakfast was promptly pulled away at 10:00 and the food was unappealing. The windows were filthy and someone had written vulgarities on them.
