Place was very clean and new. But the people above me were very loud, could hear their kids running back and forth. Waited until after midnight to call, and the staff were helpful. Other than that, everything was fine. Good internet, great shower.

Our stay was poor. The breakfast was not of quality. The pancakes were frozen microwaveable. No turkey or beef bacon. Cranberry juice wasn’t available. No boiled eggs or oatmeal during our stay. Additionally, our room wasn’t clean for two of the days that we stayed there. I called down to the front desk to request and the rooms was still not cleaned. The hotel needs to invest in kiosks. Saturday night, the front desk line was almost out the entrance door. The young lady and her family were trying to check in, and the representative informed her that her room was rebooked as she didn’t arrive at 3 pm, nor did she call and inform the hotel of a late check in and that she would need to contact hotel.com. Your staff has no empathy! The guest service reps were not in uniform and for this to be a new hotel, the amenities and service were poor.

Parking was said to have gone up to approx $15/day. VIP parking was not applied. Parking fee on Expedia listed as $10.93/night. The barn style door of the bathroom kept coming off the track. Check in took a long time because every member of the party in front of me wanted to sign up for the IGH rewards and employee entered them all manually for each one.

Bad Experience at Holiday Inn

This is a very large Holiday Inn near the Nashville Airport. They only had one person for a very busy check in area. When I called down after check in realizing that I did not have a TV remote in the room, the front desk said it was "in storage" and he would have to get it when he had time. I asked again, "do you not have remotes for each room in the room?" He again stated simply "it is in storage". I decided to go to dinner and hope it was there when I got back. It was not, and with a 2.3 hour drive, I decided to just leave just after 9PM. When I gave him my key, he stated that it was here for me. In 2 hours it could have been brought to my room. First time I have ever just left a Hotel. This is not the desk clerk's fault, but management for not having enough staff and training. I will never stay there again, and will think twice about Holiday Inn.
