The female staff were very friendly, helpful and kind.
Apparently this “resort,” if you can call it that, is in a long-standing dispute with Expedia. I was told when I arrived that my booking had been cancelled a long time ago, because “Expedia never pays us, and ignores our calls and emails.” They said they were going to ship me back to the mainland if I didn’t pay again. For context, it was nighttime, it was pouring rain, windy, and they were going to take me back to Nadi on a little fishing boat. Also, if I decided to double pay in order to stay, they were going to charge me more for a dorm than for the private bure I booked through Expedia.
There is no electricity. Everything is old and run down. The food was okay, but the staff didn’t seem to understand what hand washing was. They found it very bizarre that we would want to wash our hands. This made me stop eating their food.
Just avoid this place and book somewhere else.
