Hummingbird Hill Resort: HotTub, 3Dmovies, Hiking, Wildlife, Kids & Pets Love It

Hummingbird Hill Resort Lodge is a spacious, peaceful place to relax and unwind in nature's sanctuary. Music Room. Children's play area with toys and bikes. Pets welcome.

For couples, this lodge is the perfect romantic place to share with each other within the beautiful mountain surroundings. Here, you can really get away and enjoy a special time together without the pressures of everyday life. The remote surroundings bring a peaceful, gentle feeling.

Families will find the lodge's open spaces to be roomy and freeing. There are plenty of places inside and out to talk, eat, share and hang out. The two levels and many additional beds allow a large group to stay here comfortably for a reunion, family gathering, or a great group of friends that wants to enjoy their time together in the privacy of a wonderful mountain lodge. There is a children's play area inside and out with toys, sleds, and bikes. Pets are welcome and will enjoy the surroundings with their owners.

While remote, we have WiFi, and the lodge is suitable for remote work and remote schooling.

This rustic hillside lodge has a roomy living area open to views of the hills and the Naches River gorge. The log construction gives a unique ambiance that is unlike any other dwelling. A glass-roofed, classic hot tub looks upon the gorge walls with hummingbirds above.

There is a 360-degree deck which is glass covered on two sides, to shelter from wind, rain, or snow. A variety of deck chairs are available for relaxing on the deck, including a rocker and zero-gravity recliners. There are two gas BBQ grills on the deck.

The expansive master bedroom with a king bed has a private bath with a shower. Altogether, there is a large open living area, dining area, family room, and a full kitchen, with three bedrooms and three full bathrooms on two floors. Two gas fireplace stoves punctuate both the living room and family rooms with a backdrop of local stonework.

An additional bedroom with a queen bed with oak dressers is on the main floor. A full bed and bath are on a semi-private lower floor. The family room can be used as an additional bedroom and is suitable for younger family members or another couple who may want their own space. The den includes two portable Chromebooks and two Windows laptops for Internet browsing or playing online games anywhere in the lodge or outside. There are two Android tablets and two iPads for your use, also. WiFi is available for your own computer, phone, or tablet using high-speed DSL Internet service. The living room includes a home theater with 70-inch 3D full high-definition TV. Satellite Dish Network HD service is provided with a video library containing over 40 3D movies (including Gravity 3D, Mad Max 3D, and Minions 3D), about 220 Blu-Ray and HD movies plus about 30 DVD movies with the mixture including about 40 concerts disks in addition to movies. A Roku 3 online player is attached to the TV, with accounts for HBO, Netflix, Amazon Plus, Hulu Plus, and YouTube videos on the large screen.

The lodge has a variety of original art from over 20 Northwest artists and a collection of inspirational prints, throughout. The art includes watercolor paintings, acrylic paintings, word art, carved wood, ceramics, fused glass, pottery, and a number of unique items not found anywhere else.

This 3,700 square foot lodge has about 2,800 square-foot of fully carpeted living area on two floors. There is a 1,700-square-foot deck completed circling the home opening to the hillsides and views in all directions. Three garages are available (with remotes) including one that will hold a large pickup or van. There is plenty of parking for an RV or trailer. There is additional parking on a flat part of the property, accessed via a 300 feet trail if the roads are slippery or you have a trailer you don't want to take up the fairly steep driveway.

For music buffs, there are a few instruments supplied including an Acoustic Guitar, Electric Guitar, Bass Guitar, a Yamaha YPG-235 portable grand piano/synthesizer, a classic Roland RS-5, and Yamaha DJX Synthesizer making it possible to play a few tunes, if you are so inclined. There is also a Pyle-Pro Professional Electric Drum Kit, and multiple guitar and drum amps. If requested in advance, a Gibson guitar can be made available. The log construction gives a unique and solid sound.

Experience living with green solar power in the beauty of the unique mountain setting. Solar power for the lodge is supplied by 39 rooftop solar panels creating electricity for your stay. The summer sun will provide the power for lighting, hot tubing, cooking, air conditioning, TV watching, hot water for showers, baths, and other energy needs during your stay. With normal energy use, the lodge has a zero carbon footprint in the spring, summer, and fall. In the summer, Solar panels can produce enough electricity for your needs while you enjoy your stay. For electric vehicle owners, a standard Level 2 charging station (up to 7200 watts) is available.

This is a peaceful place to just hang out for a while. There is no need to go anywhere, if you just want to relax and be with nature around you, this could be the perfect place. Once you are relaxed, however, if the urge to explore comes over you, then you will have a large area to explore. There are numerous hiking trails along the Naches River and Bolder cave is about 15 miles away. Within an hour's scenic drive, there is Mount Rainier National Park, over a hundred unique wineries, Yakima Nation Casino and many great shops to explore. Then you can return to soak in the hot tub and watch the brilliant stars and other mystery objects move across the sky.

Hanson Family Fra-la-la
We had another amazing stay! Several family members joined Mike and I and our aging dogs for the first weekend. We celebrated my 1st teenage birthday on Friday, and had a fabulous Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday. Friday night was the first time in a hot tub for several folks; the experience made an impression on my grand niece who informed everyone "this was the best-best-best-best-best (about 27 bests) BEST DAY EVER!! The neighbor goats visited and the dogs were very curious. You could see the thought bubble above their heads: what kind of dogs are THOSE?!? The rest of the week was much quieter and we certainly enjoyed our time there. Thanks again!

Another wonderful stay
I have stayed at this property several times over the past few years and have enjoyed it every time. Obviously because I keep coming back. I like checking in and having the entire property to myself without somebody overlooking me. I know some people enjoy having a property manager on-site but I do not.I want to be left alone. I come on holiday to the mountains to get away from everybody. Any time I have a question, Jim is quick to respond. The house is comfortable. The property is beautiful. I enjoy the patio more than anything!

2nd Amazing Stay at Hummingbird Hill
My other half and I, with our two senior citizen dogs, had a lovely getaway here. Our first trip was in April, loved it! I thought in late October (this trip) the hummingbirds would have been gone but they were still there! We enjoyed the view, the quiet, the hummingbirds, the eclectic decor (so fun!) and the care that Jim puts into making his guests feel welcome. Our Chihuahua-mix Willie loved the doggie treats (small like him) and I think ate the whole bowl! ;-) We have a week+ planned in spring 2024 with a number of family members and I am so looking forward to it. We will be making memories and enjoying the many amenities that are part of the Hummingbird Hill Resort experience. My 12 yr old nephew will be in awe of the music room and little drone toy. This is a wonderful place to spend any amount of time. Thanks Jim!

Cute little rustic cabin
If tou need to get away and reset, hummingbird hill is the place to go. Tucked away off the beaten path, it is quiet and charming. House is spacious with an amazing wrap around porch, and bedrooms are nice. We originally had 10 adults and 4 kids on our trip, and after some last minute sickness, only 5 adults and 3 kids came, which was perfect. More than that and it would have been a bit cramped. The host was so gracious and left us a hummingbird feeder to take home, handmade keychains, and left coloring books, puzzles, and a ball for the kids to keep. He also left out blueberry muffin mixes, and had lot of little toiletries in case you forgot somwthing. Even left a bowl of dog treats in case youre traveling with a furry friend. Our stay was so nice, had great things to do with the kids (outaide swing, pool table, foosball table, large buckets of toys) and we all enjoyed the views. Traveling with smaller children might be difficult, there are lots of decorations which makes the house charming, but might be troublesomw for more curious younger children. Would definitely come again, and recommend to reset, unwind, and relax!

Hummingbird Hill Resort is a place for coming together ❤️
This home is ideal for multi-generations of family. There is plenty of room & activities for people of all ages. The hosts were very responsive to any questions, and man are they thoughtful!! There were so many special touches throughout the house that assured that we had a wonderful stay at the Hummingbird Hill Resort. We would highly recommend this property to friends & family. The only disappointment to our weekend was that didn't get to meet the neighbor dogs. *Wink* Thank you so much for sharing your resort with us.

if you enjoy a nice outdoor hot tub with 2 grills on the deck and nice views of the night skies and Hummingbirds, This IS the place to stay! Oh, don't forget about the mini foosball / pool table downstairs and ample play areas for young ones too. The big TV & AMPLE movie selection and internet access will not leave you wondering if there is anything to watch. PLENTY of knives and cookware too. The wall to wall carpet will keep your feet warm in the winter while the AC keeps you VERY COMFORTABLE even when it is over 90 degrees outside :) Jim has a great place here and I will be letting my Family and friends know to look this property up for their next get away. Close access to town ( about 20 miles) neighbors are not right next to you and the forest lands are very close on a VERY well maintained road to offer you lots of outdoor adventures to be had! We all had a great time. :)

Great Space for Family!
Our stay here was great! We stayed here for our annual family get together. The cabin was fully equipped with everything we needed and then some. The check in instructions and notes everywhere answered any questions we may have had during our stay and the host was quick to respond for anything else. The hot tub was a hit and the wrap around double deck was beautiful. We all had a great time enjoying the view and watching the hummingbirds all day long. We enjoyed cooking family meals together in the well stocked kitchen. The extra folding mattresses were very comfortable and convenient. We will be back.
