I don't usually write reviews. However, we were very pleased with our stay. The property was very clean and in great condition. Its location on the beach was perfect. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The pool deck had great furniture with an ocean view. We'll definitely visit again.

Everything was actually great. Staff was very friendly and breakfast each morning at the hotel restaurant was amazing! Room was comfortable and clean. Took a star off because housekeeping left a big bag of dirty towels and another large bag of garbage in the hallway by our room. Was there when we checked in around 5 and by the afternoon the next day it was still there and starting to smell. It was removed sometime before when we returned from dinner.

The Shelby is a beautiful and spotless motel! The staff were all excellent! Our room was cleaned everyday! The view from our balcony of the beach was excellent!The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because their was no microwave oven in our room.
