Nice place to stay!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice condo. Clean and had everything we needed. Close to all of our favorite restaurants. Wish they would update the plastic balcony furniture but we had a wonderful vacation.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall we had a great time. The property is dated and couch and loveseat need to be replaced they were very uncomfortable. The Tv's are small and need to be updated to larger screens. But overall we were there to go to the beach, and not spend lots of time in the room.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed in this unit multiple times. The condo has everything we need and is comfortable, clean and the location is close to all the attractions we like such as Murrells Inletand restaurants. We love that the life guard sits in front of this complex and is very tentative. Also, the chair rental attendant is very tentative. Both attendants asked us multiple times thorough out each day if we needed anything.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental needs some work. the toilets were wobbly, the drain in the tub is rusty. The carpet isn’t in the best shape either. The other condo we stayed in last year was great!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great week! The rental was clean and well stocked. A little issue with the water from the hot water heater burst in 909, but maintenance was on it even at 2am and checked in with us 2 or 3 times the next day. Brought in dryer for the ceilings. Most water went into the bathtub so other than the wet ceilings, there was no clean up for us. We were there a very busy week and the parking was an issue, but only had to park on side of road once.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was clean. It needed some updating. Had nice couch and live seat.We enjoy being on the beach. It need work done to popcorn ceiling that is falling. A piece fell on my husband one night. It needs the bedspread changed out, there was a stain on it that was gross. The rack over the toilet was rusted on its legs and needed replaced. The coffee maker could be replaced it looks burnt up. Other than the bedspread the rest of the unit was clean. I have stayed in other units that are much nicer and updated.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have never had a bad experience at the SurfMaster in all the many years I have stayed there. I was so relaxed by the time we left that we forgot our bodyboard.PROS: Location is oceanfront wonderful, all amenities are there (although you many need to either replace the coffee maker or get the proper glass coffee pot size for it to work properly), and it is peaceful and quiet (usually, except July 4th).CONS: Wish it was vacuumed a little better as I found wrappers and/or leftover snacks on the floor under the furniture (I moved them to do some yoga). There was only 1 set of sheets, not another for the pull out couch.I will definitely come back there again and again, if financially possible!

Reviewer Comments: 1st day my parking pass blew out of my window & it was an act of Congress to get another pass, notice on elevator stated "water" would be shut off Monday for a couple of hours, when water came back on toilet in Master busted sprayed water everywhere, water on carpet in front of closet soaking wet, we were down a toilet for a day and & half, coffee pot was to short, would not make coffee(that was horrible)overall this unit SUCKED

I read so many reviews on this condo and most people said really nice things so I know people have different opinions of “nice” and “clean”. I’ve been going to Garden City and Surfside all my life. I’m pretty good a looking at the pics and reviews to make sure we will be pleased with my choices. We always stay in ocean condominiums . Ocean front is definitely a must. The balcony furniture was terrible. Dirty, cheap and not comfortable. This condo needed a deep cleaning and also was Not updated. Commode in the master was loose and felt like it was going to come completely off. Nothing was updated. Did have great water pressure. TV in living room was very small. Wrong WiFi info in the instructions. We heard LOUD sounds above and beside us that sounded so loud. This place is beside a maintenance/sprinkler room and the sounds woke us up every single night. I can say we would not recommend and will never stay in this condo again. I know this is a long post but I honestly could keep going on how dissatisfied we both were. Even my husband said it needed updating! Pictures can be deceiving

It's Like Home Away from Home!

The selection process is easy with very detailed descriptions as well as photo's. The check-in and out process is simple with keyless entry. We needed maintenance, just to operate the TV and a technician was there in less than 30 minutes. Surf Master is our choice resort in Garden City!

Had hard time getting comfortable and sleeping, mattress very uncomfortable, ac unit was definitely more noisy than before. Overall very clean unit as it was before.Disappointed situation at the beach, we couldn’t sit right at the beach due to beach rental chairs and had to pay for. We had to be behind them and at so many feet away. We felt the cost of unit and traveling 14 hours we should have been able sit right at the ocean with our own chairs an umbrella. Definitely limited beach space for renters and beach goers.

Exhaust fan in the main bath needs replaced. Mold on the bottom of the mirror in the main bath. Shelving in the main bath was corroded with dust. For the price, this condo needs major updating. Will not stay in this unit again. 4th year at Surf Master.

The unit is always very clean, all the furniture is comfortable and in new condition. I’m sure we’ll be back again later in the year. Garden city realty does an amazing job with managing their properties and they are the only company we use when coming to the Grand Strand!
