Surfmaster by the Sea Room 110

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The place is great. There are some things that need addressed in the unit. Light in bedroom didn't work, light under microwave wouldn't work. But the overall experience was spectacular. Love the unit, love the location and will return.

Beautiful Condo

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great week with ext need family. In total we had 4 units rented. Each was unique and some had updates like counters and cabinets which ours did not, however everyone in the group agreed that this was by far the best condo in the group. We had the largest living area for everyone to gather in. 21 total people in the group and we had no problem having everyone over for taco bar night. Very clean and ready to use. The only update we would like to see before next year is a new bed in the master bedroom. This bed seems to be worn out.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Honestly this is a tough review to give. I can see that some changes have been made (new paint and floors) which is lovely. The couches are comfortable and dining area ample. The deck is sufficient. The bedding however, There's no way that's a queen, but even if it truly is the mattress desperately needs to be replaced in the master, the comforter felt cheap the sheets were ok but not great. The vertical blinds were missing slats so no privacy on the first floor master bedroom next to the sundeck. The other bedroom I'm not as familiar with but from a visual there is not a cohesive style with the bedding. Not a deal breaker for us just an observation. Kitchen is supplied the way I would expect, cheap everything, but I get it. My understanding is renters must steal everything good and that's unfortunate. I would never even consider that and it harms the rest of us who wouldn't. That said there were plenty of cups, plates, silverware etc. Overall I found the place comfortable as long as the correct the masterbedroom issues and would stay again knowing that is corrected. It definitely appears they are slow upgrading this place so I think it's one to consider.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This room was very nice. Had almost everything I needed to cook meals, nice furniture,great closet space, tons of drawers for clothes and most importantly super clean! Loved the room, but being first floor you hear everyone punching in the codes to all the gates almost non stop, and anyone being loud at the pool or hot tub can be a bit much. The pool crew is quite loud come early morning, resetting the chairs, sounds like they’re just throwing them around every morning and it’s right outside the master bedroom. The view was beautiful and the balcony chairs and table setup was perfect! Would stay here again but would be mindful of the noise pretty early in the morning and evening.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have had nothing but great experiences at Surfmaster. We love the location and the cleanliness of the entire property. This unit was very nice & we loved the updated furniture. The refrigerator was pretty rusty, but still worked fine- highly recommend updating it along with the stove. All of the bed mattresses were very firm and not very comfy for any of us. Really enjoyed being on the 1st floor!

Reviewer Comments: We have been coming to Myrtle for years this was our first time dealing with garden city reality and staying in surf master.I can’t say enough wonderful things about garden city rental they were very helpful with all the little problems that occurred! Will be renting from the again!Condo is very nice! Deck was big & view was amazing! Only wished patio table chairs were a little nicer (just plastic) but still it was in good shape.Inside of condo was nice. Bathrooms were a little dates but they were very clean. Kitchen dishwasher top rack was a little off so found it easier to wash everything by hand. Other than that this condo was great.It was so nice parking on top level of garage and just being able to walk to unit!Hot tub & pool were kept clean. Security was friendly and seemed to keep a check on things!Overall great place!

Beautiful Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We spent the first weeek of September at Surfmaster and throughly enjoyed our time there. The building is well maintained and the pool area is wonderful. Our condo was clean and well stocked with appliances. We weren't too sure about renting a first floor condo but the view was beautiful. Even with the hot tub being located close to our deck, we weren't too bothered. It's just a little unfortunate the night light comes on at around 8 and doesn't shut off until 10 pm which kind of distracts from the view sitting on the deck but I know it is for security purposes. It looks like the condo has been upgraded recently which was very nice. Now all that needs to be done is to replace the dishwasher and sofa which would put this condo at a 10+

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall our stay at condo 110 was nice, however there was a few issues. One being the A/C, we had to reset it multiple, multiple times throughout our stay. Called our property management company with them sending out maintenance, he reset and had said there had been issues prior to our stay. There was supposed to be an AC company come out next day, they never showed, we called property management again with no-one coming out. Luckily the AC would come back on after resetting, however again we had to do this numerous times throughout our stay. The beds could use updating. But it’s on the first floor, close to the pool, overall a nice stay!

Reviewer Comments: We've never stayed on a lower floor before, but will always now. 110 at Surfmaster was conveniently located just steps from elevator, steps from parking and with a fantastic view of the ocean. Very clean, comfortable beds, and well stocked kitchen. We had an excellent week-long vacation.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love Surfmaster and have stayed there multiple times. This is the first time our unit wasn't properly cleaned. It looked clean but the floors were nasty, very sticky and sandy. I vacuumed and would have mopped but there was no mop. The dinning room light and fan didn't work. That was the only fan so we got hot at night. My husband has prostate cancer and just finished treatment on May 26 and we arrived on the 27, therefore I didn't contact you because he wanted quiet. We had a hard time getting inside the condo and had to call several times but someone did come help us Thank you for your survey.

Wonderful Stay but poorly cleaned.

It was right on the beach and had a wonderful view. However, it was poorly cleaned. There are not supposed to be pets allowed in the condo but there was clearly an animal that had stayed in the room evidenced by the dog hair all over the floors. Balls of hair were found under the couch. The bathrooms were also poorly cleaned evidenced by hair on the floors, toilets, and showers. There was dust all over the ceiling and vent in one of the bathrooms. We did call the office and they came back to clean the room more thoroughly.

The frame of the twin bed in the 2nd bedroom was broken. Also they need a new stove. The oven cooks unevenly and way too hot. Kitchen is not very well equipped.

Not a good week for our family

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a bad experience...when our family showed up my daughter and I were spit on by one of your tenants from the 8th floor. We showed up at 230 am and We weren't able to get into our room until 5 pm. Our room was available for us but they wouldn't allow us in. The furniture was ripped and the room was dirty and me and my wife had to clean . This is our 3rd time there and we like the place but our last time visit was avery unsatisfied vacation.
