"We frequently stay at this location for business purposes, and I do mean FREQUENTLY!! We've found the staff very friendly and accommodating. Although we have had some small issues a FEW times during stays: bathroom door not locking, fan not working, ac not working, missing fridge/micro, they have ALWAYS come through for my technicians. In our line of business where we travel A LOT, it is hard to find a good stay where my guys can get a good days sleep (working graveyard) without interruption, and staff willing to make a cup of coffee for them even past time. We appreciate this location and its staff very much, and I'm glad to know when I send my guys up North for work, I can rest assured they are comfortable and well taken care off. ☆☆☆☆☆"

"Had an unplanned layover in Portland while getting repair work done on my Sprinter Van. An employee at Outside Van recommended McMenamins Edgefield and really glad I chose this place. Unique lodging experience and fabulous dinner and breakfast at the pub and restaurant in the main lodge. Much better than staying at a chain hotel! Would have liked to take advantage of the billiards, but didn’t have anyone to play with. Would definitely stay here again if I’m in the Portland area!"

"Overall stay was ok but the check in process was a mess. I paid for an extra day because I was coming in the middle of the morning with several little kids and the gate had a padlock on it. I was stuck outside for 1 hour waiting for the code at 1am with extremely tired kids. The answering company was pretty rude and told me not to call back again about the same problem. I thought I was scammed at first. I eventually got it the house was big cozy and had enough fun things to do while we were there. I also asked for a small refund on the stay due to the terrible check in process and was told no but I never stayed in the property the whole night before and I left early of the morning of check out day at 4am. "
