Secluded and Fun Property
I will start by saying that we had a blast and loved the uniqueness of the home and property. We loved that it was dog friendly and our pup had a blast playing in the water. There were a few issues that we encountered including the oven not working and the grill being very dirty and uncared for. Not big issues, but worth a mention. Our biggest issue was the enormous amount of cleaning fees and other fees that are tacked on. Over $500 in fees are added to the original price once you reserve it and then you get an email with a long list of rules that are pretty strict. We’re quiet people and didn’t have any issues following them, but they are very picky. For example, no other people are allowed to come to the property during your stay. I was able to email the managers to ask if we could have our parents and brothers come for a cookout. They did allow this, but I was surprised that we even had to do that considering the large amount we paid to stay. I understand not having parties or loud crowds, but it was still an inconvenience that we had to ask to have a few family members over for a cookout. Overall, it was a great time and the property is beautiful though and it was worth the small inconveniences. Not sure that it was worth the extraordinary amount of additional fees though.
