We showed up with our reservation and the owner said he'd already booked it for someone else through a different app. Left us stranded without a place to stay, and nightmare to cancel. Avoid at all costs.

We booked this for 2 nights, on the first night we noticed that the hot water really didn't get hot. I messaged the management and they just told me which way to turn the hot water nob. I contacted them later saying the hot water still wasn't working and I never heard back. The kitchen sink was broken and the faucet was held together with Scotch tape.

The place was dirty and there was so many bugs and creatures everywhere! Spiders, cockroaches and ants crawling all around the place. I was in bed and a spider ran across the covers! We were told to spray bug spray around to prevent this, but also couldn’t open the windows as it would let more creatures in! So we were coughing the entire time because of the spray and couldn’t sleep. We left the property two days early and only stayed one night

I recently stayed 3 nights at Villa Floresta Monteverde, and it was a fantastic experience. The villa is located in a very quiet area, offering complete privacy—you don’t notice the neighbors at all. The accommodation is modern, beautifully furnished, and features a lovely terrace and an amazing hot tub. The host was very friendly and communicative. However, one minor issue was that I only received the location details about 2 hours before the check-in time, which caused a bit of last-minute planning stress. Other than that, the communication with the host was excellent. Overall, a great stay, and I’d definitely recommend this villa to others!
