Calm and relaxation are assured in the picturesque medieval town of Monsegur. This house while fully restored has retained its old fashioned charm creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The interior of the house is well appointed and tastefully decorated with period pieces in keeping with the style of the property. Outside you will find a sunny and secluded courtyard, which is planted with lavender, jasmine and honeysuckle. Your stay can be as restful as you like, yet within a stones throw of restaurants, shops and cafes. It is an ideal base for those who enjoy wine tasting, as the historic hilltop towns of St.Emilion and Duras are but a short drive away.

Perfect location!
We wanted to be right in the village of Monsegur within walking distance of cafes, restaurants and a boulangerie for our morning croissants. This house was ideal! It was just what we needed, and was equipped with everything we needed (although a couple of more large bowls would have been useful) . Christine, the property manager, met us when we arrived and explained everything. What we didn’t think to ask about, we figured out. We knew when we booked that there was no wifi in the house but that would have been a much-appreciated service. Everything was just as we expected and we had a great time!

Beautiful little house that catered for all our needs. Great locality.
We had a wonderful stay. House was clean and well maintained. Just what we were looking for. We know Monsegur well and chose this property for its closeness to the main square. A short walk and we could sit and enjoy coffee,food and wine from the local bars restaurants. House representatives were helpful and friendly. Wilk definitely book again. Just the kind of place we would choose to live in when we hopefully come out to live ourselves. Many thanks. Gen and Steve

Lovely house and great location
This was our second time in Monségur and we enjoyed it as much as the first time. The house has everything you might need, it's clean, bright and just has a nice vibe. We loved eating, reading, listening to music, talking at the kitchen table under the roof window or in the shaded patio. The beds are clean and comfy (which I find important) and towels and small but needed appliances are available, such as dishwashertablets, salt and pepper... The little town has plenty of cafés and restaurants. A swimmingpool down the road. You can make nice walks or roadtrips in the surrounding areas.

Heerlijk licht zomerhuis in gezellig dorp.
Hartstikke leuk, licht, compleet ingericht huis. Een paar kleine mankementen, maar die stonden een fijn verblijf niet in de weg! Op 1 minuut afstand van het gezellige marktplein met terrassen, restaurants en winkeltjes.

Sehr gemütlich und zum Wohlfühlen
Wir haben eine wunderbare Woche in diesem Haus verbracht. Es ist sehr geschmackvoll und "alltagstauglich" eingerichtet. Es ist alles da was man braucht, eigentlich war es ein Gefühl wie im eigenen Feriendomizil. Da hat sich mal jemand richtig Gedanken gemacht! Es sind nur wenige Schritte bis zum Marktplatz, der das "Herz" des Dorfes bildet, mit kleinen Restaurants und Cafes. Das Dorfhäuschen liegt einerseits ruhig und trotzdem zentral. WIr haben immer einen Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus bekommen. Sehr schön ist auch der kleine grüne Innenhof auf der Rückseite des Hauses, der den ganzen Tag Sonne hat. Da haben wir viele gemütliche Stunden beim abendlichen Wein gesessen. Dieses Haus zu mieten, ist nur zu empfehlen. 😃
