Beautiful place for 2 families with kiddos x5 ages 11-17. We especially enjoyed the outdoor spaces with lots of activities - grilling, gas fire pit, ping pong, pool table, and lots of comfy furniture for sun or shade. Not to mention the pool & hot tub - amazing! It was worth paying the extra bit for the pool heat for spring break. So refreshing!The location was also great with a short walk to the beach. We felt comfortable having the kids walk the sidewalk along the main beach road and there were plentiful beautiful sunsets. The golf carts were great for the short trips to restaurants or the grocery store. 10/10 recommend!

Place is fantastic! Super spacious, private pool and hot tub, and great location. Short walk to the beach. Mostly quiet considering it was spring break. Plenty of outdoor space and seating.

The property is great for a large group. Lots of space inside and out. The pool area is great! Close walking distance to the beach as well. Contacting the host was really easy and they replied very quickly. We had a great 2 week stay!

Perfect Escape

This property suited our family of 15 perfectly. The backyard amenities entertained adults and children alike. My only recommendation would be towel hooks to hang pool and beach towels. Thank you for a great week!

Perfect, relaxing getaway

Backyard Oasis was perfect for 6 women. Nice bedrooms and amazing back yard with pool/hot tub, firepit and grill. We did have a few questions during our stay and were answered almost immediately each time. I would highly recommend staying here.

Fantastic!

The best thing about this property was how helpful and responsive the property managers were! Any issues that arose they were completely on top of it! There were 7-8 of us that stayed and everyone was comfortable. The pool was incredibly refreshing on days that were so hot. Most of the beds are on the firmer side, but the one bedroom in the back not attached to the bathroom had a softer bed (which I chose). The beach was absolutely within walking distance. We didn’t get the golf cart (even thou we wanted one) and we made it work. We loaded things up in the vehicle and drove everything down to the beach when we went for the day, then drove it back and parked at the house. We would definitely stay here again.

Forced Family Fun!

Our family all enjoyed our stay. We have 6 grandchildren. The two older girls 10 and 11 stayed in the room with the double bed. The boys 9and 8 stayed on the top bunk. The both little girls 5 stayed on the bottom bunk! It was perfect having all the kids in the same area. They shared a bathroom as well. The 3 adult couples had their own rooms! We had the master…. The grandparents! It was great! The backyard was awesome! The pool was so much fun! We grilled out several times. The kids played ping pong, and water games! They loved the basketball hoop! The jacuzzi was wonderful! We sat out at night and watched the hockey play offs by the fire pit! The lighted pool was great for night time swimming. The host, Freya, responded to some issues we had and resolved them asap. We rented a golf cart which we were very thankful that we rented!!!!! It made it so nice to take our kids and stuff to the beach! We had to make two trips! The walk to the beach was not bad. Unfortunately, 3 out of 6 days there was no swimming at the beach! Rip currents!!!!! We were so thankful we had the awesome backyard oasis to use ….. swim and play in! Thank you! We hope to return someday!

Fine stay for family

We enjoyed our trip to blue oasis. We’ve stayed in this area before and it’s a great spot in Destin. Overall the staff was nice to work with and I do feel they tried to accommodate us. I imagine their hands are tied as they don’t own the property. A few issues: 1. We learned as we landed there was no AC at the house and it was broke. I’ve been a homeowner for a longtime and if I wanted to have air conditioning in my home, I can make it happen. I’m not sure what the issue was with the AC but it was never fixed during our stay. 2. They accommodated us with a portable AC unit, window units, & fans. SO LOUD. 3 While we stayed: Tree trimming, vacuum replacement, measuring the property. Bad timing 4 The pool area was not as tidy as it should have been. Trash left, needed to clean the grill before we could use it. Skimmed the pool as well upon arrival. 5 The bunk room room so hot and unusable. Overall, we would stay here again. Because I love the location. To say we were inconvenienced is an understatement. I booked the house so my trip was not always fun as I had to manage the entire families expectations since I was the POC. I was very open with the management team and they said they were communicating with the owner my issues. They did credit us $500 and said if we visited we can be “taken care of.” I would visit and stay at the property again. But I know my family who joined would not come Back to this property as they told me often. This is why I gave the house 4 stars.

Family vaca Blue Oasis

Over all impression of the property was good, we loved the backyard, the layout of the home was excellent for multi families, fire pit and gas grill was also a plus! On the flip side the master bedroom plus the bunk room side of property had no TV at all week the cable wasn’t working and no Roku. The queen room and bunk room was extremely hot all hours of day, no wash clothes, parking for two vehicles only listing said 4 vehicle parking no way, pool area had trash left on ground, No dish washing soap, bathroom soaps or wash pods. Our host was always helpful and always responded to my questions during our stay. The lack of preparation and amenities for our stay I feel was ignored. I always try and leave a accurate review of any property we stay at this was our experience.

Great private pool and close walk to the beach

This property was a great stay for my family of six and three other families with four additional kids. It was great to have our own private pool with provided toys. The beach was a few minute walk away in a great restaurant in that same distance.

Great place

This was our first time renting a vacation home with our family. It was great! We had 6 adults and 6 children. Perfect for us. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils. Even had a big pot to hold 13 ears of corn! The pool was large and a beautiful back yard. The pictures of house inside and out are truthful, you will not be disappointed. The walk to the beach is 2 1/2 blocks. Entrace to beach is right by Pompano Joe restaurant.

Wonderful Miramar Beach House

Our family had a great stay at the Blue Oasis. Everything was just as represented on the VRBO listing - the place was clean, and the pool and hot tub were great. Better yet, the owner and the rental company were super responsive to questions and a couple minor issues and went above and beyond what might have expected. Altogether a A++ experience for our family.

It was great!

Such a great house for our family! The back yard & pool was amazing! We spent most of our time in the pool & beach. The basketball hoop in the pool was a definite bonus for our group. We enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings. We vacation every other year with our family & this was one of their favorites! Family Home

We are a family of 14. The kids range in age from 10-19. The bunk beds were not compatible for sleeping 2 teenagers to a bed. The kitchen was great. We do this vacation every year but this was our first year in Destin. The kids loved the area, the beach and the amazing back patio. We had an issue with the pool and it was resolved immediately. Overall a great place for a family vacation.

Family Thanksgivings 2022

We had a great time at this beautiful property. My granddaughter was in the pool everyday and the adults were in the hot tub every night. It was a ten minute walk to have your feet in the sand or a 3 minute drive. We have stayed at other rentals on our family vacation and this one had a lot more cooking pans and utensils than the others. Hamburgers were made on the grill and beers and wine were drank by the fire pit. All in all it was a very relaxing time for all.

Great vacation

House was great! Back yard was perfect! Loved the pool and hot tub. There are a few things that would make it better. More seating in the family room, new pots and pans, and hot tub should be on longer than 6-10 pm
