Good sized but dated rooms, poor location.

Big rooms with balcony and good bath with shower. Location not good for walking around but can get a taxi to the centre for 20-30 euros. The air conditioning is turned off every night at 1am

Nice Hotel - Handy for Linate and the A7 south

Short overnight stay, arrived in late to Linate and drove to Genoa next day... Hotel was fine, big bedroom. Also free parking which was great and one main reason for choosing this Milan hotel.

reasonable hotel, poor location

Although only 30 minutes walk from Milan centre, poorly connected by public transport (20 mins to nearest metro) and no shuttle bus provided to and from the metro. In a rather remote area which is run down and resembles an industrial wasteland, so not nice walking to and from it as a single woman. The hotel is just OK. The door entry card failed to work repeatedly and food was just fair. I was woken unnecessarily early one morning by someone ringing hotel room bell, and on another night by room lights switching on and off of their own accord. I wouldnt choose to stay there again, as it was overpriced and disappointing and I did not feel safe walking to and from it as the surrounding area is very poor.

Not worth the money

The shower trickled water and was horrible. Some of the front desk staff was rude. They charged extra city tax after the expedia bill was supposedly paid in full. Very expensive for very little. Breakfast was pretty good I suppose.

the hotel is too far from the center, and it cost us lot of money to get to the the metro station. sometimes there were no taxis from metro station to the hotel and we were waiting for a taxi more than an hour in the rain. the distance is not close to the center as described in your website, the hotel location is not even shown in the map of Milano, it's not in the map. because of the location, it's cost us lot of money that spent to transportation instead of shopping.

Our third time at this hotel

Convenient for our needs. It is a 15 minute walk to metro, metro will get you almost anywhere. If you have a flexible schedule, you can get the hotel bus to the metro in the mornings. Staff are friendly, lots of choices at the breakfast buffet... if you want a cappuccino instead of the coffee that's there, just ask and they will bring it to your table.

Atahotel Quark, Milan - Never again

The only redeeming feature of this hotel was its spacious room. It is located in a semi-derelict area on the outskirts of town, a 15 minute taxi ride. Totally unsuitable location if you dont have your own transport. The reception staff were casual, to the point of dismissive. When asked if there were nearby shops, the laugh was almost contemptuous. No. When asked for the wifi connection, we were told "its broken, and anyway it would cost you." When we arrived at our room we were greeted by the remnants of the previous occupants breakfast outside the doorway. There was no apology when we complained. The restaurant was outrageously expensive, so much so we resolved not to use it. Despite the comment about no shops I set out to find an alternative. After a 30 minute exploration, including passing derelict properties, country lanes, and having to cross a 4 lane motorway, I came upon a suburban area, not very appealing, but sufficient to find a small restaurant and buy some supplies. On departure next day we had to wait while they checked out a full busload. I asked whether the wifi was fixed, and how much it would have cost. Yes it was fixed and it would have cost 10 euro for 1 hour or 22 euro for 24 hours! In 7 weeks in Italy no other accommodation charged for wifi. This was our worst hotel experience, by a long way, and I would not recommend it to anyone.

Ata hotel - Close to Linate

Close to Linate airport but thats all I have to say about this hotel. Arrived to a room whiched smelled of body odour, no air conditioning until after 6pm, safe didn't work, multiple lights blown in the room and stains all over the couch. Moved to another room which was better but still had BO smell. The breakfast was plentiful but poor quality. Stay away.

An excellent choice for Milan

Atahotel is a good example of a convention hotel which can also grant good service to the private traveler. A VERY spacious and elegant room, a big balcony, internet access, Fine TV set, spotless bathroom. A very rich breakfast, staff efficient and friendly. Our car was parked for two days free of charge. Bus or tram to the center of Milan and the Duomo (!) is some 10 min. walk. An excellent choice - recommended!

Hotel is not convenient if you visit a fair at RHO

The hotel is really far away from the exhibition center RHO. The food at the hotel is low average and overpriced. There are no other restaurants in the area. Safety is very bad. No security lock nor chain on room doors. Balcony door can be easily opened when nearby window is tilted. You hear everything from all your neighbors. Inexpensive but really not convenient!

good for business travelers on an expense account but too far from historic center of milan for older tourists. 10 min. walk to tram, 17 to 25 euro cab ride to the duomo depending on time of day. no shopping or retaurants in the vicinity of the hotel which is situated in an an office park overgrown with weeds since the offices are not rented.Transportation is not provided to malpensa airport in contradiction to what the brosure says. 100 euro cab ride or schlep your bags onto a train or bus. Otherwise it is a clean, comfortable hotel with a helpful staff and,good breakfast.

great hotel, location not so great

if you are renting a car or traveling solely by taxis, or you just really don't mind walking then this is a great hotel. the staff was super nice and helpful. the rooms were big, super clean, and very nice. the free daily breakfast was awesome. again the only negative side was the walk from the metro/ tram to the actual hotel. its like 3 long blocks away from public transportation and then another like 5 blocks to get through the maze that is the building complex its located in.

Great for our needs

The location was perfect for our needs, we had appointments that were only a 10 minute walk from the hotel. The Metro is about a 15 minute walk, which was fine most of the time. We did use a taxi a few times, and it was 20 Euros to the airport which we thought was reasonable. The internet access was very expensive though, something I wasn't pleased with, but was necessary. Staff were friendly, and those that couldn't speak English would find someone who could.

My room was clean but needed revamping. The bed over throws were threadbare the woodwork had large paint chips in it. The air-conditioning does not work, unless you call the window the air-conditioning.. The food in the Restaurant was bland and there was almost no choice, Very Over Priced, stick to the Bar Food. Breakfasts are OK but don't expect anything hot except congealed eggs and grease sausages, stick to fruit and croissants
