I normally don’t write reviews but this was a horrible experience. The room I booked in this hotel is the smallest room I’ve ever been in. Smaller than a Tokyo apartment and the not fit for human habitation. I asked for an upgrade and the only response was $50 per night. The desk apologized upfront for “catfishing” me and my wife. No special amenities at this hotel and everything is extra including a $350 pool party pool chair (no kidding). Not even an adequate lobby space.This hotel should have been demolished back in the 70’s.

In regards to your concerns about the pool, we have 2 pools on property in which our guest pool there is no charge.From your review I see that you wanted a complimentary upgrade which was not granted, we did offer an upgrade at a discounted price. Very chic and comfortable. Our room was spacious. The bed and bedding was very comfortable. The staff was very courteous and helpful.

Amazing 3 nights at SLS.

Pros: Everything was so nice... From Darian at the front to the attentive staff throughout the hotel everything was so nice. Be back again soon.
We stayed for a long weekend at SLS and were so happy with the helpful staff and gorgeous accomadations. We loved the beach and hanging at the heated pool and enjoying their cool beverages and tasty lunch options each day... Everything is meticulous cared for and so pleasant to enjoy. We had the pleasure of dining at their upscale Bazaar restaurant and enjoyed it so much. We loved the Oysters and Caviar plates. Incredible... We will be back next time we are in South Beach.
