I was very disappointed with this whole reservation and stay. The environment felt unsafe which is why I asked to cancel my reservation. We could not cancel because we were in the 24 hr cancellation period already. We were placed on the first floor in front of the conference room. When I went into the room, the toilet didn’t flush right and the tub had stains. Also, there were fans in the hallway which I’m assuming to dry the carpet. I asked if we could be switched to another room and was told that we cannot because room service only comes every other day and we had already walked into the room. On Saturday morning, we were awakened by gunshots which terrified my daughter. This is definitely not a place that I would ever stay again.

The eggs and sausage were delicious. Mattress not very firm. Staff very nice and housekeeping excellent. The hotel is hard to find, though, in a location behind a restaurant. Better signage would help. At 6 am, there was a dangerous situation caused by a violent guest with a gun in my hallway. I was terrified. I wish someone on the staff had called my room to check on me and advise. They need to put an emergency response action plan in place to better protect/comfort their guests when something like this happens.

The breakfast was a bit limited in its offerings. I would’ve preferred the sausages everyday but they were only there every other day. I was in room 404 but the phone was labelled that it was room 509 and it never worked for calling the front desk. I had to use my own phone every time. Other than that, the facilities were clean and the staff were helpful. I did have a cleaning lady knock on my door and ask me if I was leaving on my check out day which I found a bit unprofessional. Aren’t they just supposed to wait for you to leave?
