Nice property with some major concerns

There were some positives. The location is good and the apartment was great for the price. My first concern with The Rambler stems from there being no onsite employees. There was a group that had multiple rooms on my floor who were loud in their rooms and shared spaces. When I contacted The Rambler there was nothing they could do other than send a mildly worded text to all guests. Useless. When I asked the group to keep it down, one of them threatened violence. The Rambler's response was to suggest calling 911. At no point did they inquire who the other guests were or offer me another room. The other concern I have is that your pin for the doors to the hotel and your room is just the last four digits of your phone number. Anyone with the knowledge of a guest's phone number can access the property. With there being only ~20 rooms, they have a good chance of finding the room. I did a quick experiment to see if I could find someone checked in on social media and find a phone number for them. It took about three minutes. For the love of god, please issue random PINs and don't use easily discoverable information Lastly, amenities at The Rambler were poorly described on their site. I was in the middle of a long trip and needed to do laundry. I found a local laundromat but upon return to the hotel I saw a sign for the laundry room. It would have been nice to be able to learn of that amenity without having to randomly come across a sign

We loved The Rambler! The building is so unique and spacious. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed for a family of 7. Will definitely stay here again when in Memphis!

This is overall a wonderful property. And I’ll likely return. Parking is somewhat of an issue, but there is street parking and a lot across the street, I just felt a little uneasy about it. After midnight there were some young men utilizing the pool, being very loud and unruly, with no front desk on property, I was unsure about how this could be handled. This went on until nearly 3 am, when quiet time should obviously be observed and enforced.

Great service, on call and pleasant over the phone. Safety was up most importance to the representatives that served me. The security guard was alert, polite and thorough. Definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay downtown and I myself will definitely enjoy a stay at The Rambler again!

Unit was beautiful, very clean, location was great! It’s a 10 minute walk to Beale St. and down the street the Lorraine Hotel. Hotel staff was always available over the phone. I had an issue with the unit door code which was taken care of with in a couple of minutes.
