The good: Great building and room. Comfy. Cool exterior pool area. Short walking distance to Beale Street and a but longer to Sun Records. Shirt 15 min drive to Graceland. The bad: Confusing check in procedures and poor clarity regarding parking availability. Roof leaked during heavy rain and maintenance walked right into the room while we were inside before we could even respond to the one knock and then uninvited entry (super disturbing). Sketchy neighborhood.

Luxury accommodations with the worst customer service. Communication was poor & there were no attempts to make their online check-in system more practical. While I loved the room I was completely exasperated by the staff (AI?). Will not stay there again, unfortunately, unless it comes under different & better management.

No thank you

Thank you for reaching out for feedback. I recently planned a surprise staycation for my husband and children at your hotel. While the location was moderately accommodating and our room was clean, we encountered several issues that impacted our experience. Upon entering the building, there was a noticeable odor of marijuana mixed with a floral scent, and our room had a stale smell. Additionally, throughout the night and into the morning, other guests engaged in disruptive behavior - fighting, screaming and running up and down hallways/stairwell, including smoking marijuana, going in and out of the building, and banging on walls and doors. The situation escalated when the fire alarm was set off for 20-30 minutes. I wanted to bring these concerns to your attention, as they significantly affected our stay. I appreciate any efforts to improve the experience for future guests and refund us for our unfortunate time.

Buyer Beware, Profits over Guest Experience

The Rambler property is physically attractive and well appointed. Although, the Rambler experience is unacceptably poor Their business decision to have no onsite staff, requires the guest to comply with their text and email demands instead of providing hospitality and guest service. More profitable for the owner, more painful for the "guest". The following is one of the emails asking for safety and quiet during my night in Rambler Hades on Feb15th "It is now 3 AM. We have been subject to a false alarm and significant delay turning it off. The noise occurring in the public areas has not been resolved. If anything it has increased. It is impossible to sleep. I earlier requested that you honor your commitment to provide a safe and quiet environment for guests. You have refused." If you decide to "roll the dice" and stay at this property, I hope your e perience is better than mine "

4.5 Stars, Would Return

Overall, staying at The Rambler was a pleasant experience. The (Housekeeping) Staff on-site provide amazing (customer) service. The location was nice, right across from the National Civil Rights Museum, and it suited our needs. The property itself is in decent condition and clean. There were a few minor issues. One, in some of the rooms the shower handle would fall off. Two, the walls can be a bit thin. I could hear everything next door was saying at times. Also, having a treadmill or weights in the basement would be nice. If I was in the area and needed a place to stay, I would have no qualms with staying at The Rambler again.

Not Worth It

There is no front desk so it is all digital check in. They send you a link and tell you to use your phone number or confirmation number to fond your reservation. It didn't work and I had to message them. It looks like an abandoned building when you pull up and you enter through a side door into a unapealing hallway. The biggest letdown of the stay is the group of other guests that were staying there seemed to want to use the hallway as their party zone until 3am. This would not have happened in a hotel with staff on site that would be able to handle situations like that when brought to their attention. I notified the hotel through their messaging platform but nothing got done. I would never stay here again.
