The staff were all very friendly. However, the hotel needs some work and service improvements. The breakfast was average and found the coffee really bad. Melbourne is famous for its coffee culture and the hotel didn’t live for the standards of the city. The coffee machine in the breakfast room doesn’t make god coffee. The rooms are not clean daily but every other day. They do the bare minimum when cleaning the rooms (only do the beds!) - I found the floor in my room and the toilet still dirty during the 5 days I was in the hotel. Also, they didn’t collect the dirty cups and top up the coffee amenities. The cleaning was very poor! The room was ok - a bit dated furniture but the bed was comfortable.

The room is on the older side but clean. The beds were comfortable and the sheets were nice. Minimal in the way of amenities. The staff were helpful and it is a great location. Close to the free trams, the city and Victoria markets

During checkin, I booked the hotel parking(basement), but the staff guy did not tell us that there was no lift from the car park straight till the floor we were on. If he did, we could have taken out our luggage at the reception and not have to carry our heavy luggage 2 flight of stairs. The room was extremely dark and had no sun light at all !! The building seemed covered from all angles so no sun light could come in. Very poor experience
