The Space:

The well-equipped kitchen is complete with full-sized appliances, including a stove, refrigerator, and microwave, along with dishware, cookware, and utensils for preparing delightful meals. Enjoy your meals at the dining table for six, the cozy kitchen nook for four, or the table on the screened-in patio.

The living room is designed for relaxation, with a pullout sleeper sofa, recliner, loveseat, flat-screen TV, and DVD player for movie nights. Step outside to the screened-in porch from either the living room or the main bedroom to savor the refreshing outdoor atmosphere. For added convenience, an in-unit washer and dryer are included. The condo accommodates up to six guests and provides two parking spaces—one at the condo and the other on the property.

During your stay at Marathon Beach Club, take a leisurely walk to the private beach to witness the famous Florida sunsets, or head over to Sombrero Public Beach, just 2 1/2 miles away, to enjoy their pristine white sandy shores.

Please note that access to the unit requires climbing stairs. A security deposit is due at check-in. Check-in time is 4 PM, and the minimum age to rent is 21. The property reserves the right to place guests in an alternate unit if necessary due to maintenance or unexpected events.

Sombrero Beach – This is one of the most beautiful beaches in the Florida Keys, ideal for swimming, sunbathing, picnicking, and watching sea turtles' nest during certain times of the year.

The Turtle Hospital – A must-visit for animal lovers, the Turtle Hospital is a rehabilitation center for injured sea turtles. You can take a guided tour, learn about the rescue efforts, and even see the turtles up close.

Dolphin Research Center – This nonprofit facility offers interactive dolphin and sea lion experiences.
You can learn about marine conservation and even swim with dolphins in a safe and controlled environment.

Crane Point Museum & Nature Center – Explore this 63-acre nature reserve with hiking trails, a natural history museum, and educational exhibits about the flora, fauna, and history of the Florida Keys.

Other Things to Note:
Marathon Key Beach Club boasts of one of the largest pools in the area. It is shared with Banana Bay Resort. Banana Bay Resort offers boat slips and parking for a boat trailer for your convenience. This must be arranged with the dock master directly. Please let us know when you book if this is something you are interested in making arrangements for.

There is a limit of two vehicles per unit. There is not room for oversized vehicles or trailers. Parking for one vehicle per unit is available under each building, a second space will be available on the property.

Books, tennis equipment, board games are available at the office.   

Marathon is home to the Turtle Hospital. A non-profit rescue, rehab, and release facility that is open for tours.  

There are several fishing charter and scuba shops nearby.

Interaction with Guests:
8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Saturday. The office will be closed for major holidays unless the major holiday is on Saturday.
