Weekend in Wamego
Cute town, unique place to stay, great location. The bed could use an upgrade, it's very loud with any little move. There is no cable or Wi-Fi, which didn't really bother us, but something to note. Owner was very responsive and gave good directions to get in. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Renovations look like the combination of an artist and a professional dry waller and painter. The claw foot tub with circular curtain around it was a surprise.. I enjoyed walking around the rooms and looking at everything done to rooms. It has everything you could want, plus it is dead center of downtown and walkable. you do have to walk up 25 steps to get to the apartment.

The online listing failed to mention that there was a staircase with 24 steps straight up to get to the apt. Anyone with health issues would find it hard to climb the stairs. The apt was clean and comfortable.

Cute Apartment
As expected of an old building, the back stairs have a smaller depth due to wear, but both sets of stairs have a handrail on one side. Depending on your provider, cell service can be pretty spotty inside & WIFI is not currently available. As for the apartment itself, it is very roomy & comfortable. There is a ceiling fan in the bedroom, two restrooms with one containing a clawfoot tub with a shower head. The sun shining brightly through the blinds of the old large windows into the wide open living space was very pretty in the mornings. Pictures from years gone by of the downtown were hanging on the wall. A nice touch to see how the town used to be. This is a great downtown location & easy to walk to downtown sites such as the Oz Museum & the Yellow Brick Road! Also, Brandi was very responsive & helpful! I have a great stay!

Very Comfortable
We were in Wamego for the tulip festival and wanted to stay close. This apartment was perfect for location. Very comfortable and clean. Brandi was quick to respond to communication making sure we had everything we needed. Would recommend this apartment to anyone unless you have a problem with stairs. Would be the only reason anyone might have an issue as far as I can tell.
