Pool was closed, HOT BREAKFAST WAS MOT AVAILABLE FOR 3 DAYS. I have NEVER seen a hotel without hot breakfast when a place offered breakfast. Milk, cereal, a SINGLE muffin, apple and oatmeal was all that was available. Pool was closed for “maintenance” which no one was working on. People in the room next to mine got kicked out. I found that interaction disturbing. I watched someone mow with a push mower and they didn’t blow the clips away. Owner has to be a cheap monster who doesn’t remotely care about their property. Overall, worst experience I have had and I have slept at motor lodges.

Family 1 night 2 rooms..Was an OK stay. One room had a wet carpet smell likely due to the air conditioner, but rooms were clean. The lobby also had air conditioner problems so it was tapped off which gave a negative first impression. There was no continental breakfast though there was suppose to be one. Pool was out of service too.

We checked late, slept and on our way, for the price, all we needed was a bed and a shower. Forget the breakfast. This isn’t a luxury hotel. This is just one night stop and leave.

STAY FAR AWAY! This property is severely outdated and completely neglected. I had to switch rooms three times on the first night—first due to a horrible odor, then being placed next to a mechanical room that sounded like a jet engine, and finally a room that was just filthy, with an unacceptable amount of mold in the bathroom. This hotel is not safe—neither from a sanitation nor a general safety standpoint. We were so uncomfortable that we ended up switching hotels altogether. I’ve stayed at La Quinta locations before and always had a great experience, but this stay has completely changed my view of the brand. I’ve also emailed the General Manager and am still waiting for a response. Avoid this property at all costs.

The lady at the front desk told me that the pool was open for the season when I called to book. It in fact was closed. The gentleman when I checked in was rude and didn’t want to speak to me and was talking over me to my husband. The lady told me I needed to leave when I pointed out that she had told me the pool was open. The ironing board in our room was broken. The juice machine was broken. The only option for beverages at breakfast was milk. We stayed one night instead of 5. Left and went to hotel next door.

The room was set to 71 degrees and when we got back the room was icy and damp, towels and sheets. Two room keys never really worked, had to call maids to unlock door. On Sunday, not much of a breakfast! Pool closed! TV remote too basic, hard to use.

In the end, this room served its purpose: easy access to DC with being able to explore the Manassas National Battlefield in our spare time. Staff was friendly and helpful. However, the overall condition of the hotel is shabby. Wallpaper peeling in spots, spotted a roach, the pool was out of order and while our room was clean, the general curb appeal was not there. Breakfast was sparse. Depsite being there at 6:30am when it opened, there were only a handful of bagels, some cereal, and a sign asking guests to take 1 muffin (after the first day, I never saw another muffin). We were planning on saving a bit with the "free breakfast" but that was a no-go. But, like I said, it served its purpose and compared to other local prices, I guess you're getting what you paid for. A bit disappointed but it didnt take away from our overall trip.

On a slow pace downhill

Regular guest here since the place opened. This place has gone downhill the past few years. The breakfast especially is terrible. They used to have eggs, bacon, potatoes, etc but now only breads, packaged oatmeal and apples. No juice machine now also. The room itself is average but for the price is commensurate.
