The Windows on the Lake apartment is located in Malcesine, in a residential area about 1 km from the town hall square, which leads to the exclusively pedestrian area that includes the historic center. The port and the famous Scaligero Castle, a place often chosen as a location for weddings, can be reached in about 15 minutes on foot with a relaxing panoramic walk along the lake.



Not far away there is also the departure point of the famous cableway that in a few minutes takes you to the summit of Monte Baldo, more than 2000 meters above sea level. Sure a highly recommended experience to do.



The flat is accessible by car via a short winding road that could create some maneuvering problems and offers a private parking for a car near the entrance. Guests can use a private dock, shared with other people, going down a staircase that leads directly to the beach.

Apartment was lovely. Clean, wellSituated about 15 minutes walk from the town centre. The walk is nice, along the beach front. The private jetty is handy but not exclusively for the apartment. The garden was perfect for breakfasts and the terrace for drinks in the evening. It also gave a wonderful view out over the lake.

Windows on the lake was as advertised. A beautiful,clean apartment with a fantastic view of the most peaceful area of Lake Garda. Situated directly across from the lake and the promenade into Malcesine, a 10-15 minute stroll away.The contactless check-in was smooth and the instructions were adequate. The veranda area was wonderful and I still wish I was there. Restricted motors make that area of the lake quiet, and the wind surfers and parasailers from Mount Baldo were relaxing to watch . The driveway was a little tricky at first, as advertised, but we got the hang of it pretty quickly. I recommend nothing bigger than a small hatchback car , though , for ease of parking. The clothes washer worked well in a clean garage, but for those from the states , no dryer other than the rack on the veranda. The coffee maker did not work, but 2 small Bialettis did the job and the brew tasted better!There was an old olive grove next to the apartment, so it was extremely peaceful at night. You couldn’t ask for a more beautiful spot convenient to Malcesine, Limone( by ferry 20 minutes) , Riva( 25 minutes by car), and Verona(75 minutes by car).I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Amazing apartment in a great town

Stunning apartment, great views, jetty on the Lake, 15ish mins walk into the centre but calmer and more peaceful than the centre. What's not to like! Malcesine has so much to do if you're the active type (walking biking swimming windsurfing kitesurfing) , and loads even if you're not. Great apartment, amazing view. Well equipped. Great to relax at in good and bad weather, which you'll get both of in the Lakes and Mountains!

Auch wenn der Wetterbericht nur schlechtes Wetter vorausgesagt hatte ( war nicht so ..) , der Urlaub ist Bombe gewesen. Malcesine kenne ich schon Jahrzehnte, und es entwickelt sich mit Tollen Cafés und Shops immer weiter. Die Aussicht der Wohnung ist eigentlich unbeschreiblich. Aber bis zur Wohnung mit den Treppenstufen ein wenig beschwerlich für ältere Menschen. Aber sonst voll genial und sauber. Alles in allem…. I love it … und komme sehr gerne wieder.

Unglaublich schöner Blick auf den Gardasee

Der Name "Windows On The Lake" für die Ferienwohnung sagt schon alles. Die riesige Fensterfront ermöglicht auch bei miesem Wetter eine spektakuläre Aussicht auf den See und Malcesine, selbst wenn man im Winter (wir waren über Silvester dort) die große Terrasse kaum nutzen kann. Die Wohnung ist auf gehobenem Niveau ausgestattet, auch für 4 Personen ausreichend groß und super sauber. In der Küche findet man alles, als wäre man zuhause. Nicht selbstverständlich in Italien ist die perfekt funktionierende Heizung im Winter. (Klimaanlage für den Sommer gibt es auch.) Nach Malcesine kann man in 15 - 20 Minuten wahlweise über eine sehr schöne Strandpromenade oder durch einen Olivenhain spazieren. Für uns als Hundebesitzer war das ideal. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist der kurze und schmale Parkplatz. Aber immerhin konnten wir unser 4,80m langes Auto (SUV) direkt am Haus unterbringen, auch wenn ein Fiat 500 wohl leichter dort hingepasst hätte ;-)

Der Ausblick ist super schön.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen, grazie dafür. Alleine der Ausblick entschädigt ein paar kleine Mängel. Das Bad war sehr sauber, aber wie schon von den Vormietern erwähnt, etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Badewanne ist komplett stumpf. Wir haben es geliebt das Treiben auf dem Lago zu beobachten. Der Parkplatz ist tatsächlich grenzwertig, denn wie gefordert, die Reifen HINTER der Kette zu parken ist mit einem normalen PKW unmöglich. Aber es hatte sich keiner beschwert von den Nachbarn -wir haben auch immer nett gegrüßt :o) Sehr gerne hätten wir gleich den nächsten Aufenthalt für das kommende Jahr gebucht. Aber nach Einsicht der zukünftigen Preise ist das leider für uns nicht mehr möglich. Eine Preiserhöhung von 618 Euro/Woche im Juni ist schon happig. Schade.

Malcesine, toller Blick!

Wie bereits beschrieben ist der Ausblick mit großer Terrasse allein die Buchung wert! Die Einrichtung ist sehr sauber und einfach. Für uns war alles in ausreichender Menge vorhanden. Die Betten sind auch bequem. Was uns leider einige Nerven gekostet hat, war die sehr enge, kurvige Zufahrt und Parksituation. Morgens waren wir dann regelmäßig von Anwohnern oder Baufirmen zugeparkt. Unser Auto ist 4,25m lang, ein Mittelklassefahrzeug. Ein Alternative ist ein öffentlicher Parkplatz ca. 150m entfernt. Die Nacht kostet 35,-Euro.

Geräumige Wohnung mit toller Aussicht!

Die Kommunikation mit der Agentur war sehr unkompliziert, die Wohnung liegt toll mit großem Balkon mit Blick auf den See. Die Wohnung war gut ausgestattet (Spülmaschine, Klima,…). Kleiner Abzug: Die Wohnung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen (Steckdose lose, altes Bad mit Duschwanne, Wasserhahn klemmt etwas) und zu Beginn hat unsere Spülung nicht funktioniert, dies wurde dann jedoch am nächsten Tag durch einen Klempner erledigt. Aber der Blick vom Balkon verzeiht das!

Eine Woche in Malcesine

Die Aussicht von der sehr schönen Dachterrasse ist unbeschreiblich. Bei Sturm sind die Windsurfer besser als ein Fernseher. Leider ist das Geräusch der Straße etwas störend. Die Wohnung, insbesondere das Bad ist ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen, aber blitzsauber. Der Fußweg am Strand nach Malcesine ist in knapp 20 Minuten zu machen. Man kann sogar in der direkten Umgebung ganz schön wandern. Wir waren zu zweit in der Wohnung, hatten also viel Platz. Auch für vier Personen wäre der Platz ausreichend.

Perfekte Wahl

Wir waren mit der Wahl dieser Wohnung mehr als zufrieden! Insbesondere die Terrasse bot bei jedem Wetter Gelegenheit, den Blick auf den See und die Umgebung zu genießen. Wunderschöne 180° Aussicht auf den See!

Die Wohnung ist genial geschnitten für 4 Personen, der Ausblick ist atemberaubend und die Dachterrasse ist wahnsinn! Schön wären Klimaanlagen in den Schlafzimmern, da es hier nachts/morgens extrem warm iust! Ansonsten 100% empfehlenswert und wir werden wieder kommen......!

Herbstferien 2019

Die Wohnung ist schön hell und die Terrasse wunderbar. Die Küche mit allem Nötigen ausgestattet und sehr aufgeräumt und sauber. Durch die Küstenstraße, unterhalb des Hauses, hat es natürlich Verkehrslärm, der uns aber nicht störte. Der Parkplatz am Haus war nicht ganz so einfach zu befahren. Dringend erneuert werden im Bad, sollten der WC-Sitz, die Brause mit Schlauch (war schrecklich verkalkt), die Duschabtrennung und der wackelige Wasserhahn am Waschbecken. Auch die Badewanne (zu alt) macht nicht wirklich Spaß. Der Parkplatz am Haus war nicht ganz so einfach zu befahren. Schön wären auch mehr deutsche Fernsehprogramme

Quelle vue magnifique

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié cet appartement lumineux et spacieux, et surtout sa superbe vue sur le lac. Nous y serions bien restés plus longtemps. Le séjour, la salle de bains et la terrasse sont particulièrement grands. Toutes les pièces sont dotées de nombreux rangements. Seule la cuisine est un peu petite, mais elle contient néanmoins tout ce qu'il faut (et de toutes façons quand on voit la vue depuis le séjour ou la terrasse, on n'a pas envie de manger dans la cuisine :-) ) Nous recommandons sans hésiter !

Es war ein tolles Apartment, aber die Küchenausstattung (Schneidemesser, Besteck gab es sehr wenig . Bad wc sitz wackelig ,loser Wasserhahn Waschbecken,Duschschlauch . Wohnzimmer großes Rollo ging nicht runter)Die Aussicht vom Balkon ein Traum

Sensationeller Blick

Der Ausblick vom Balkon ist unbeschreiblich - einfach toll. Die Fewo ist gut ausgestattet, allerdings sollte über die Erneuerungen der Badarmaturen nachgedacht werden. Heizung hat gut funktioniert. Der Weg nach Malcesine führt ruhig am See entlang und dauert ca. 15min.
