Great location and great value for the price! Just a little noisy if you are trying to get to sleep early. You hear everything - people talking, walking down the stairs or opening/shutting doors.

The room was very small. There is no separation of shower and toilet. The walls are paper thin. The breakfast was terrible.

Got a private room, was super expensive and the room was pretty basic. Bed was comfortable enough but there was a bunch of broken stuff and the shower is set up in the worst way possible where the water just floods out on the floor of the room so I wasn’t even able to shower. One of the reasons I wanted a private room. Pretty basic experience otherwise. It’s in an alleyway so a bit tricky to find.

Wonderful hostel

Excellent hostel, great location. The hostel has a very calm and welcoming feel to it, friendly staff and a lovely breakfast. Rooms are what you would expect, but perfect for our short stay.

Quiet and comfortable

I can’t think of any negative things to say about this hotel other than no tv in the room. But since we were only there a few nights not really an issue. Breakfast was adequate and nice. Room and lobby comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. We didn’t have any issues finding it but since others had said it’s hard to find we put the maps on and found it with no issues. Actually since it’s along a back lane it made it so quiet. The nearest metro stop is Plaza De España and the area feels safe and has plenty of cafes and shops. We would definitely stay here again if we were to visit Madrid again. Also tour buses nearby.
