The location was good. The house was cozy.It was by a river/lake. It was about 15 minutes away from stores.

Beautiful location

It was wonderful to have such a relaxing time with our family with all the space this property offered and beautiful views on the water. We have 6 children as well as a dog who joined us and we all had a great time. The property is fenced in at the sides and water at back but no fence at the front. This wasnt a problem though as our dog had so much land to run he never ventured that far. The property was quiet with no traffic noice and no noisy neighbors, just a couple of dogs barking in the distance.For the price, we were extremely happy.A couple things. The house was was old and thinks like loose concrete dropped when the door was closed. There were some spiders webs, but we're from Texas and big bugs arent anything new to us.The kitchen is decently equipped and we were able to cook dinner there most nights but the non-scratch cookware is a little old and scratched up.We stayed for a week and ran out of toilet tissue, kitchen paper and trashbags. When we've stayed at VRBOs before theres always been an abundance of those but we did have to visit a store which wasnt super close!Finally, it wasn't clear from the listing that there were 3 rentals on the property so the grounds were shared. We were lucky to have fairly quiet neighbors and it didnt bother us, but had we known, we probably wouldnt have booked. We have busy hectic lives amd generally choose solitude for our family vacation time. This time it worked out and we would actually consider booking again.H
