only good, staff could be better.

Pros: view, drinks and some of the staff are wonderfull, they put a birthday cake to my wife at the room with no cost, i really apreciate it.
Cons: the have to check them staff and fire 3 of the bartenders, for example a woman bartender said, Tekila for everyone!, and served only to americans
Location: bad location, no swiming beach and far from shops and restaurants. If you dont want to go out of the hotel, this is your hotel.

A lot of scam from big hotel (casa dorado)traveler be aware sale man from this hotel. They have a boot at the airport. Don't. Buy any thing from these guy. Or hotel casa dorado. They are major hotel. But scam people.

Love it

Pros: The staff was great and the food was delicious. Lilly, Lilly and Danny where great making sure everyone was having a good time.
Location: Shopping and swimming with dolphins
We had the time of our lives. We plan making this a yearly trip. Look forward to see in you next year.

Great Hotel on the Beach

The greatest staff of any hotel where I have stayed. Our bar tender Alma and our waiter Fernando were the greatest. The property is wide and open. The pools are wonderful. If the opportunity should arise, enlarging the adult pool and adding an in pool bar to it would make the the property perfect. The other pools have in pool bars. The food and entertainment and food are very good.

We feel like family :)

Pros: As mentioned, the staff is superior. The grounds around the resort are beautiful and you never feel closed in or cramped. 3 pools areas
Location: There is a concierge service at the resort, Remember, this resort is in San Jose del Cabo not Cabo San Lucas. You might want to make a side trip.
This is was our 10th visit to this resort. We visit there at least once a year and most often as part of a group of between 10 and 20 kite fliers. To say it is enjoyable would be an understatement. By far the most outstanding feature of this resort is the staff. I would name names but the list would be too long. Suffice it to say you will be hard pressed to find a group of individuals more dedicated to making sure you have a pleasant stay.

I would love to give them 5 stars but I can't.

Pros: We really enjoyed spending time in the pool. The pool staff and bartenders were great!!
Location: You can not swim in the ocean. The hotel is at the end of a small strip of nearby restaurants and stores. There is a 45 minute drive to Cabo San Lucas
My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary. We had a partial ocean view room but our balcony view of the ocean was partially blocked by a tree. No big deal tho. We were given black wristbands while everyone else had a different color but was never told what the black wristbands give us so we never got anything special. We were offered a free picture of us but we never went down to take the picture. The food was just ok but I don't expect food to be great at any resort. Great food is always a bonus to any vacation I have been on. The 3 pools are great and the bartenders and activities guy were also great. The biggest problem we had was that there was money stolen from our room. We were told that only the maid had been in our room and there was no way to prove she stole it so there was nothing they could do. Because of the theft, we refused clean up from any maid during our stay which made it very inconvenient for us. We had to hunt down towels and other items for our rooms and empty our own trash. We travel 2 to 3 times a year and have never had this happen to us before. We understand that all valuables should be locked away in the safe so we take full responsibility for not locking our money away. However, the money was not just sitting out on the table. Whoever took it went through our belongings and this is totally unacceptable. We still managed to have a great time but will never return.

Perfect Family Escape

Cons: kids pool be heated
When our family went to leave the hotel I was so touched when Juan at the pool gave me a hug goodbye. The ladies in the bar inside were my savior. Everyday, they gave me big smiles and immediately reached for the milk knowing I was coming to fill my kids sippie cups up. The wait staff in both restaurants always greeted us with smiles and excellent service. If they weren't smiling they were usually being personal to our family or goofing off with our kids. I can't say enough about this hotel's staff. By these interactions alone I would come back here in a heartbeat. The food was good too. Breakfast had more options than you could possibly want. Lunch and dinner were always a treat too. While we ate lunch we were able to watch the whales jump just in front of us or have our kids play on the beach. The room was perfect for our family of four. We didn't have a balcony which worked to our favor. Instead, we had a sitting area in the room which we were able to put a crib in and everyone else in the beds. Oh yea, the other perk of the was there was a playground onsite. This was perfect to exhaust our kids before throwing them into the pool.

Nice family hotel

The stay was nice overall. We had 3 families with kids and the kids pool worked well for us to hang out daily. There was a water slide area and kids play house beside a large pool that everyone could swim in, and a swim up bar. The food was just okay considering there were only 2 options - buffet or restaurant. It was windy several days Dec 24-31 -not sure if this is normal for Cabo at this time of year but we had several nice pool days. Pros: on the beach, family friendly, affordable, nice staff, all inclusive, nice suites available, kids club. Cons: buffet food and limited food options, too many bees everywhere, far from city of Cabo - about $45 each way, can't swim at this beach.

Paradise couple hours from Los Angeles

We got back yesterday and already miss this place. Our first time in Los Cabos. All the reviews are correct. Wonderful place to relax and hike on the beach for miles. Only reason for not giving 5 stars is the quality of food. Please offer more authentic Mexican food which was wonderful. They try to please all the other cultures that are frequent visitors however the food generally was too rich. Entertainment was perfect and not over the top to maintain the peaceful friendly ambiance. Wonderful nature views all around. Right next to the bird sanctuary which is as far as eyes could see. Staff was very polite and respectful. Luis at the beach bar is super cool and can make you excellent cocktails all day long. Can't wait to go back!
