Thank you so much for making my birthday solo trip to London so easy and safe! Have to say ROXANA is AN ABSOLUTE JEWEL and the friendliest receptionist I’ve yet to meet! Only regret is not being able to say bye to her before I had to leave for the airport! Cheers!

Old grotty room with very basic furniture. Bathrooms are dirty with no toilet paper in the toilet. Looks absolutely NOTHING like the pretty pictures on the website. Twenty minute walk to Big Ben and Parliament, not close by as advertised. Don’t waste your money on this place. It’s horrible.

This is a room in a student residence. On the one hand the staff is pleasant (though available only 30 hours per week) and the location is in a quiet, upscale, convenient neighborhood. There is plenty of heat, which the guest can regulate, which is not a given in London. On the minus side, the guest is offered nothing beyond a room that is clean and spacious upon arrival but not serviced during the stay. No soap, no cup. They give you a roll of toilet paper, but if you leave it at the toilet other guests will take it and use it. The facilities often seemed to be in disrepair (one shower had scalding hot water, one only had cold water and a third worked OK, and once the light bulb blew out and nobody replaced it),and could be a lot cleaner, especially on weekends. At night there was frequently a moderate noise level from student guests, or from noisy neighborhood pubs around the corner. The price is good in a very expensive city, and the location couldn't be better, but any prospective guest should be aware of exactly what they are getting into.

Ahimè il soggiorno presso Louise House non è stato buono. Avevo letto recensioni contrastanti ma pensavo che quelle negative fossero esagerate (anche a fronte di quelle positive). L’host e il fronte Office molto gentili e disponibili, però la struttura versa in terribili condizioni, la pulizia degli spazi privati è discreta ma in quelli comuni (bagni, cucine e area relax) erano davvero sporchi. Abbiamo soggiornato per 3 notti durante il weekend e da venerdì a domenica nessuno è passato a pulire i servizi igienici che, anche a causa dell inciviltà degli ospiti versavano in condizioni a dir poco pessime (e di igienico c’era davvero poco). Ho provato anche a cercare se negli altri piani ci fossero dei servizi igienici dignitosi ma non ne ho trovati. Ho scelto l’alloggio anche per le foto viste sul sito ma a conti fatti non corrispondono alla realtà (certo, sono le foto delle stanze reali ma l’utilizzo che è stato fatto dell’AI/photoshop per modificarle è davvero eccessivo).Mi spiace davvero, ma il prezzo ragionevole per una città cara come Londra non giustifica il far soggiornare le persone in un luogo poco dignitoso.
