Great little hotel in a good area. Everything is small including the bathroom but it worked for me. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only 5 min walk to Paddington station and shops, restaurants etc. I would go back again. Well worth the money.

It was nice and close to Paddington and HOp on HOp off bus. The mattresses were very uncomfortable and were larger than the bases so they slipped all night.

Good property for low-mid price traveler. Friendly staff, good service. Had 2 different rooms, a small studio with shared toilet and shower, and a full room with bathroom. Both good for the price. Recommended.

Couldn’t expect better value for money

Stayed in room 20 - expected a single room so very pleased to be allocated a double. In the basement but outside area in which to sit. Cleanliness wonderful. Excellent bathroom. Exceptional value for money.

Woke up in the morning with over 50 bed bug bites around my body. Was absolutely fuming as had to turn up to an important work meeting with arms covered top to bottom in bites. Then had to take an hour out of my day plus a £20 cost to go to the chemist to purchase tablets and creams for these as they were huge and I had a bad reaction to them. Horrible experience. Would absolutely not stay here again.

I enjoyed my stay at the Barry House a lot. Located just a few minutes from paddington made it easy to go anywhere in London. The price was great and was the perfect place to sleep before exploring the city. Please keep in mind that the stairs are no joke. I was happy to lug my bags up and down for the great price, but they are very steep and narrow. Consider this if you have disabilities that may make the stairs difficult. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Thank you for letting me stay and I hope to visit again in the future.

Good proximity to Paddington Station. If you are a family or group --we were a family of 3 adults (2 petite females and 1 male) and two children-- with 2 x50 pound suitcases plus carry on bags --there are no elevators in the building. When we arrived the person at the desk was unfriendly and did not even offer to help. However the second receptionist who did several back to back shifts was friendlier and even kept our food in the fridge overnight in their staff fridge. There are NO fridges in the rooms or irons ( if you are attending meetings). beds were comfortable and bathrooms clean. housekeeping staff hardworking and much more friendlier. I would return if i did not have heavy luggage and did have any needs for professional activities.

We had an excellent stay at Barry House. The neighbourhood is perfect, with tons of dining and a tube station a block away. The property was well maintained and our room had everything we needed, including AC which we were pleasantly surprised with since our stay was in the middle of a heat wave. It would be nice if they did offer breakfast, though. However we would certainly stay here again.

Not the best but great location.

Very basic room, paint peeling off the walls, bedside drawers dirty so didnt unpack much as didnt want to use them. Terrible smell of drains when we went in our room which we solved by closing the weird outside doors. No headboard which is quite unusual..didnt look anything like the photos online!!! Although they advertise as a bed and breakfast, which was what we wanted, we were informed that they havent done breakfasts since Covid!!! On the plus side, staff were pleasant, location was great and the shower was powerful and hot.
