Great water front location

The boat dock was perfect. We were able to bring our boat and park it at the dock which made easy access to the lake. The paddle boards were not available as advertised. The kitchen is adequately stocked.

Beautiful property!

Great location, beautiful home and property with plenty of room for the whole family. Everything you could want is on this property. Right on the lake, easy access to fishing and boating. Location is close to it all, but just out of the hussle bustle of town. Loved it. Will book here again for sure.

Love, love, love

My family and I booked this beautiful home last year and November 2023. Our book date or schedule date was memorial day weekend 2024. We had the best time. Played games that the owner provided and set out on the upstairs deck the first night and laughed and laughed and laughed. The owner left kayaks and stand-up boards, even Matt for the bottom of the dock for the kids to play off of, but also provided lifejackets for the kids and adults. We grilled down on the outdoor kitchen and it was so convenient and easy and we just had a fantastic time. Backtrack a little bit and let me tell you about the dock. So beautiful down there with a hammock, bar, height, table, and chairs, swings, and I mean, a double swing and two single swings all swinging together. There was a swing at that end of the dock… And let me tell you what goes up must come down… Lol overall it was a fantastic time with the family. We were in jet skis right up the street neighboring person. Let us use their cart for the weekend. This is a well needed break For all of my family and I hope to do it again. I highly recommend renting this house.

Triple Bunks Aren't Ideal

The triple bunk room is smaller than an average restroom with no room air other than a small fan about 10 inches wide. If you're thick - forget getting on them. The outdoor kitchen was very dirty. No power several times due to weather and it would have been nice to not deal with the maggots and flies. It doesn't appear they clean the outdoor kitchen area.

Lake house getaway

Loved our stay here! Brought the fur baby and got to fish and RELAX! Would have loved a complete fence around yard to let our dog explore, but she enjoyed sunning with me on the deck. Will be back again.

Nice, quite lake house

Nice lake house, good sized property and yard with access to the lake and private dock/boathouse. Decent fishing right from the docks for catfish. Backyard has a nice big outdoor patio and outdoor kitchen is very nice. Overall it was a nice relaxing stay, exactly what I was looking for.

Great Family Vacation Lake House!

We stayed here for the Labor Day weekend with our large family and everything was great! The layout of the house was large and worked well with all of the family members we had. The sleeping arrangements were accommodating for everyone to be able to sleep comfortably. We all enjoyed the indoor and outdoor space and non-stop swimming and fishing off the dock. We grilled and hung out, played tons of games and really made the best of our family time together! We definitely would stay here again.

Quiet, lovely home

We had a great weekend! The house was clean and had everything we needed. When I reached out to our host, Sarah, she responded almost immediately. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck watching the turtles and ducks swim by. It was a quiet street, we didn’t see any neighbors the entire weekend. We will definitely come back to stay here. 10/10 recommend. Thank you for having us.

Nicely decorated. Great amenities & ambiance. City/county roadwork less than desirable. Laying rock, rolling it flat for 3 days. Very loud & vibrated the house. Dust from gravel road, but not a deal breaker. Certainly no fault of our host. They were VERY responsive. My entire party wants it again next year. Thank you Mr & Mrs S

Muddy

The house is beautiful and spotless! The dock was covered with cobwebs and no directions were given for lights on the dock! And then there was the carport! So, when we pulled in to the carport both of noticed lots and lots of dirt covering the French drain at end of driveway; covering most of said drain! Then overnight it stormed! Water approximately 2” deep all the way to back wall! Mud was everywhere, nothing was draining off! I called Mrs. Sims; told her about and her answer was yes that happens! No offer to fix the problem. I asked her if they had a shovel, she told me where it was and my husband, who has an incurable disease….PAH….. and me who has two bad knees, two metal hips, and a screwed up back shoveled the mud and rocks off the drain! Thankfully neither one of us was hurt by doing this! New dirt and road crap came washing down and covering the drain every time it stormed; every night! All of us had to walk thru mud and water just to get to our cars! We all decided that although the home is gorgeous we will never rent it again because of the danger of slipping in the mud! Also, what stinking hostess would allow her rentals to shovel the damn mud off the driveway? I have pictures of the flooded carport if you want them!
