They require a deposit even though you will not order anything. Then place a hold on those funds for three to five days.

The deposit is for incidentals and prevent our guests from damaging or smoking in our rooms. Pretty basic but what we expected from Motel 6. Room was clean and neat, overall it was quiet for a holiday weekend and they accepted pets. No frills (ie breakfast, toiletry amenities) but served the purpose.

Convenient area and friendly staff. Toilet seat dirty, no shampoo and hairdryer you need to check out.

The young man that checked us in at 5pm was nice. We had issues in our room and he was able to fix one of them. The grumpy old guy that was at the desk when we checked out was the opposite. It seemed like he was bothered by my being there and asking for change.

Highly Recommend, Accommodations Great & Staff++++

Pros: The staff and the cleanliness.
Cons: The water pressure in the shower.
Location: We were there during an ice storm so we didn't venture too far. Luckily this is quite close to a Cracker Barrel only a block away.
Phone staff was great about helping me get a change to the reservation. The woman who checked us in was nice enough. She knew her job and it was a smooth process. We did lose an item while we were in town. We called hours after check-in to see if it had been turned in. Brittany handled my call. She not only went to check with housekeeping, she personally checked the room and called me back to let me know they couldn't find it. To top it off, she did all that within 15 minutes. I consider this going above and beyond, and I was definitely impressed. Our room was extremely clean and had a cool mid-20th-century vibe to it. It was a big perk to have a microwave and a refrigerator. Our one and only issue was the water pressure in the shower. It would be nice to have it a lot stronger.

US Marshals

Pros: rooms were nice
Cons: inform guests prior to being law enforcement holding a raid nearby
I booked this room for my boss while she was in town. I came down to check her in from my office and drove back to the office all with in 2 miles. By the time I got back and called her to see how the room was (15 minutes) there were US Marshals outside her door banging across the hall for a guy wanted for attempted murder! As I'm speaking to her she is told to get into the bathtub because they have no idea what kind of fire power the guy has on him. So while still on the phone with me she goes and hides in the bathroom of the room. They get the guy to open up and there are 2 men inside. At this point she is supposed to be back at the office to teach a workshop for my people but can not leave her room. .. After the men are taken into custody she is allowed to leave. The next morning there is no in room coffee although the listing said there was and the continental breakfast is donuts in a vending machine. Needless to say we met for breakfast. At no point did the staff offer any compensation and the only thing they did do was call after the fact law enforcement was banging across the hall. Embarrassing and severely disappointing
