This wonderful old farmhouse has been lovingly restored having had a full renovation in 2020 creating an exceptionally comfortable holiday home in a pretty village setting close to Les Deux Alpes. Making it the perfect choice for cyclists, skiers, hikers, and all mountain enthusiasts!

The ground floor has a welcoming entrance hallway. To the left is the large stylish lounge with impressive vaulted ceiling, wooden floor, comfortable sofas, tv, and wood burning stove for the colder months. There are French doors leading to the south facing garden and stunning views.
A separate kitchen and dining area are adjacent to the lounge. The kitchen is bright and well equipped with electric hob and oven, fridge freezer, microwave, coffee maker and all the necessary items to enjoy a self-catered holiday. The dining table comfortably seats eight.
Also on the ground floor is a bathroom with shower cubicle and separate WC.
A short staircase leads down to the cave and a lovely wooden sauna. What better way to ease aching muscles after enjoying a day in the mountains!
Stairs from the hallway lead to the first floor of the house and to both bedrooms. The first has two sets of good quality adult sized bunk beds and plenty of storage for personal items. A second family bedroom has a double bed an adult sized bunk bed and storage. Both bedrooms have access to the second bathroom with shower and WC. All beds and mattresses are new as of 2020 and are good quality.
The furnished garden and terrace is a wonderful place to enjoy an evening aperitif after your ride, or in winter to enjoy the snowy alpine scene. There is a BBQ for use in summer.
There is a café/bar situated beside the house and a nice selection of restaurants and shops can be found in the artisanal village of Venosc positioned just above the gondola station.
The little hamlet of L'Alleau is situated on the valley floor close to the crystal-clear waters of the Vénéon, and a 10 min walk away to the gondola for Les Deux Alpes that takes just 8 minutes to have direct access to the ski slopes in winter.
This area is renowned for hiking and cycling in the summer months with the Parc National Ecrins on the doorstep and a multitude of hiking options available. For road cyclists you can ride to the foot of the famous Alpe d’Huez in just 15 minutes or choose one of the other many famous climbs in the area.
The house has a prime location for those seeking mountain activities or for just getting away from it all!
