Cassandra’s home was magical! We came with many big and little kids, and everyone has something to do throughout our whole stay! The sand by the lake was perfect, there were plenty of kayaks, stand up paddle boards and life jackets. We gathered wood for the fire pit, and the setting was just perfect for us. It’s away from all the busyness of the city, it’s so peaceful, and we had the most wonderful time!

Perfect family getaway

Our family of five had a great time. Kids used the kayaks and went fishing, the fire pit was perfect at night. The house is very clean, roomy and nicely decorated!

Family vacation

Our family had a wonderful time at the Leroy Lake House. There was plenty of beds for our family ( 7 adults, 6 children). The kids enjoyed the hot tub, sandy beach and kayaks.

Get to together with friends & their kids

Room for everyone! The beach & lake were very nice! The deck for morning coffee & evening visiting was fabulous! Hot tub was a bonus!

Easter get away!

We wanted to get out of town but not drive too far! House was great for little kiddos to have space to play inside and out. Hot tub was a big hit too. Thanks so much!!

A Beautiful Escape

We arrived on Wednesday evening and were very pleased with the house itself. The bedrooms are very nice, and the 2 living areas were well set up for the kids. The back deck overlooks Sunrise Lake and without the leaves on the trees, it was an awesome view all weekend. The hot tub on the back deck was also great for both the adults and kids! We would definitely book this property again. The owners were great, and the stay was everything that we’d hoped that it would be!!

LeRoy Lake House did not disappoint!!

The property is beautiful and the house was immaculate. Plenty of room. Awesome to have a hot tub. The beach area was great and we made lots of use of the kayaks. I cannot think of one thing that was not right. The host is very thoughtful, even has basic spices in cupboard, and pretty much anything you could need (except we never did locate a pair of scissors, lol). We would stay again in a heart beat.

Ladies Getaway

The house worked well for our group. It provided privacy for all with separate bedroom areas and many places to relax. It is an older house remodeled. The layout is quirky but cute. We enjoyed the hot tub and firepit. Cassandra was very responsive from booking to check out. It should be noted that the roads at this time of year are difficult to maneuver. They were extremely muddy with deep ruts.

Relaxing Getaway

We stayed here for a brief retreat and enjoyed the space. The main room is cozy with a fireplace and the hot tub is a nice addition. The house has a few different sitting areas if you want to spread out, but we mostly utilized the main room with the kitchen, dining table, and couch. The road leading to the house is not paved and had some pretty decent size holes so definitely bring a high clearance vehicle with four wheel drive, especially in the winter. The kitchen had pretty much everything we needed to cook, it just took a little searching to find things. The one thing we couldn't find was a good vegetable peeler (there was one, but it didn't work very well) and only a few of the knives were very sharp. Overall the kitchen was well stocked though. Extra cozy blankets throughout the house were a nice touch as well.

weekend Getaway

Inside of house was spot on with cleanliness and how updated it was. Some small things to repair in house (clogged sink, lots of cabinet doors falling off, ice makers not working, hot tub needed to be cleaned, lots of carpenter ants inside of house, etc.) but nothing to make us not want to come back. Plenty of space inside for 14 people when weather outside isn't great. Outside property could be better maintained, as it seemed it hasn't been in awhile. Beach was great! Sun all day long! Boat has been poorly maintained and nothing works on it except motor, lol, so it gets you around! I would recommend asking for pics before paying for rental of boat and bringing your own life jackets as there was only 3 total and they werent in great shape. Lake is very clean and clear water. Caught some decent Bass off the beach. Overall I would go back, just would be nice to see some of those smaller things taken care of for the amount of money that was spent for 3 day weekend. I still would give it 4.5 stars as we all had a blast!

Family vacation at Leroy Lake House

Newly renovated and cute on inside. Paper products such as paper towels, toilet paper and tissues limited supply (luckily we brought our own). Skylights filled with spiders and bugs above dining room table. Dining room seating wasn't equal to sleeping capacity. Boat motor didn't run well and wasn't very well maintained and didn't include any instructions on operating the boat. Beach was very nice but lake was relatively small and paddle boat had a hole in it. Hot tub was nice but got very dirty and caused sores on everyone that used it. Dryer wasn't working properly notified owner nothing resolved. Step in front was loose and would tip. Refrigerator and freezer had food crumbs and needed to be cleaned before use. Towel bar and toilet paper holder were loose in upstairs bathroom. We had fun and we see the potential of this property.

Winter Getaway - Girls' Weekend

We stayed in this property for a long weekend with 11 women. The property is just as it looks in the pictures. The owner has done a great job remodeling this house, and is extremely responsive and helpful, and the neighbor is great as well! Since we stayed during COVID shutdown, we really couldn't check out the area, and spent the whole time in the house and in the backyard. The property was plenty big and comfortable enough to accommodate everyone. I think it would be a great place to rent in the summer. Everything in the house is pristine and top notch. Only a few cautions... if you are going there in the winter, make sure you have 4-wheel drive, and don't take a wrong turn! We spent a lot of time trying to get multiple vehicles unstuck on the roads, and up out of the icy driveway. Thankfully the wonderful neighbor helped us out! The stairs to the second floor are extremely steep and steps are narrow. Could be a bit precarious for some. Other than that, everything in this property was wonderful and just as advertised. We are already talking about returning again next year! Thanks for such a great place to have our annual girls' weekend!

Perfect!

This property had everything we needed for a long unplugged weekend with the family…including lots of blankets for snuggling on the couch. Easily able to accommodate 6 kids and 7 adults. Lots of sleeping and seating options.

The pictures in the listing were beautiful, but they still don't even do home justice! It is absolutely beautiful, and there isn't much you'd be able to forget that they didn't think of and make available for your stay! Would live to book again next summer!!

Annual Family Vacation

We had a great time as a family. Plenty of space and things to do on the water. We loved the big couch for movie nights and the fire pit was used everyday day! Cassandra was great with communication and the neighbors were wonderful and helped us with any issues. Thanks for opening up your place for others to enjoy!! Nice week!

Interior nicely decorated and clean. Large enough for our family to spread out. Needs updated cookware. Good selection of appliances. Upstairs water pressure is very poor suggest different shower head. Would remove door wall to extend deck area. Deck in need of cleaning. Steps to beach were rotted and in need of replacement. Firepit area is a tripping hazard needs to be a level surface. Dock broke, caretaker promptly repaired. Hot tub needs to be professionally maintained. In need of lawn / grounds maintenace.

Family vacation

We rented this property for a ip-north family getaway for a week. The lake, and all sports lake, was great for our needs! Lots of tubing. The house itself has been beautifully updated. They did a gorgeous job! Everything was in working order, would definitely rent here again!

Great Getaway!

This was the perfect spot for a birthday getaway for my girlfriend and I! The house is beautiful and clean, and the amenities are fantastic! I’d come back in a heart beat!
