You will experience an unforgettable vacation right on the water in this fantastically situated vacation home in Lauwerzijl. Enjoy the beautiful view of the water and the landscape beyond on the terrace or in the cozy living room. Relax outside with a glass of wine while the boats pass by. Bring your dogs on vacation, the garden is completely fenced. The cottage is within walking distance of a heated outdoor pool, which you can use for a small fee. The cottage has a good room layout with a living room, a fully equipped kitchen, a bedroom with double bed and a bathroom with shower, toilet and sink.



You are on vacation here in a beautiful part of the province of Groningen. In the nearby village of Garnswerd is a nice swimming opportunity with sunbathing lawn. Visit the tea factory in Houwerzijl (4 km), the fishing village Zoutkamp (6 km), the DoeZoo in Leens (8 km), the adventure park Waddenfun in Wehe-den Hoorn (18 km), the National Park Lauwersmeer (16 km), the seal station in Pieterburen (18 km) and of course the inviting city of Groningen (22 km). Also Lauwersoog is easily accessible, from there the ferry goes to the island of Schiermonnikoog. The island is a national park and offers a surprising variety of landscapes and beautiful sandy beaches, which are among the widest sandy beaches in Europe.

Im großen und ganzen haben meine Tochter und ich uns in dem süßen Häuschen wohl gefühlt. Auf den ersten Blick und oberflächlich war auch alles sauber aber bei genauerem Hinsehen sah man leider deutliche Spuren von vorangegangenen Besuchern und Dreck, der nicht erst in den letzten paar Wochen entstanden sein kann. Generell ist das Haus deutlich in die Jahre gekommen, was mich nicht so sehr gestört hätte, wenn es einfach gepflegter gewesen wäre. Ansonsten ist es eine Traumlage, mit wunderschöner Aussicht und absoluter Ruhe zum Entspannen und runterkommen. Das in der Beschreibung benannte Restaurant in ein paar Minuten fußweg gibt es auch nicht mehr und dem Verfall nach, schätze ich auch schon länger nicht mehr. Internet Zugang hat leider auch nicht funktioniert. Wobei ich da bei Nachfrage bestimmt Hilfe bekommen hätte, war mir aber nicht so wichtig.

Schönes Haus

Es hat alles super geklappt. Der Schlüssel war da und wir können direkt einziehen. Das Haus ist genau wie in der Beschreibung. Das Haus befindet sich auf einem Campingplatz. Dieser ist zwar schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber uns hat es nicht gestört. Der Hund hat sich wohl gefühlt. Das Grundstück ist eingezäunt so das er nicht ausbüxen konnte. Das Restaurant auf dem Gelände gibt es nicht mehr. Sieht aber so aus als wenn dort renoviert wird. Vielleicht macht es irgendwann wieder auf. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind ca 3-5km entfernt. wer die Ruhe liebt der ist hier genau richtig. Auf den Platz totale Ruhe. Genau das richtige um abzuschalten. Und man kann überall schön spazieren gehen, tolle Landschaft und viel Wasser wegen dem Kanal mit vielen Booten die jeden Tag vorbeikommen. Ca 6-10 km gibt es am Lauwersmeer einen hundestrand. Der war klasse.

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus in ruhiger, idyllischer Umgebung. Idealer Ausgangspunkt für Radtouren in alle Richtungen (Lauwersmeer, Welterbe Wattenmeer, Groningen, Leek u.v.m.). Schwimmbad und Restaurant in unmittelbarer Nähe. Supermarkt 4km entfernt.
