We got a room that was nothing like the pics on this site. We were supposed to get a jaccuzi sweet and not even a spa tub. The room was a smoking room but smelled of years of smoking without any deep cleaning. We told the front desk how the room smelled and they could care less. I had to buy candels, frabreeze and glade spray and the room still reeked. There was no real blanket only a thin sheet. I asked for my room to be cleaned after I left on the 3rd day and it was never cleaned. I will never go back to this hotel. The extiror of the hotel was in shambels trash all over the grounds it needs a mojor facelift for sure. If you want to be disapointed stay at Tropicana.

Found out about $35 a night resort fee at check in. Food is outrageously over priced. ( 2 salads, 2 waters.. $40..) Are you kidding me. 2 frozen margaritas at the pool in small plastic cup, mostly water.. $32... WHAT ????.... Used to come to Vegas often in the 80's and 90's. Always stayed at the Tropicana, great prices, great rooms. Boy has this place changed.. Do not plan on returning.

Ben, we appreciate you sharing your feedback regarding the Tropicana. Currently we do charge a resort fee, as mentioned within all our reservations. As this resort fee is meant to include our most widely requested amenities for one fee. While our room rate is solely for the use of the room. We do apologize for any communication failures that may have occurred regarding this. Additionally, we have shared your concerns with our Food and Beverage Team. We understand that you were not able to experience us at our best, and hope to exceed your expectations in the future.

Just stayed one night and it was clean & nice. My only disappointment was no shuttle to and from airport. Maybe none of the Vegas hotels do.

Tropicana

I think this hotel is nice, it is one of the older hotels Vegas has to offer. It is not as nice as some of the other hotels that we visited, but we were content with the price that we paid. Its right across from NY NY and MGM, plenty of pedestrian bridges, and things we could walk to. We were happy with the staff and hotel.

Nice hotel

The hotel and rooms are nicely updated; the casino and restaurants are a little older but not bad.
