Nice view - quiet

We enjoyed our stay here. Just two days. Easy walking to town. Enjoyed the deck with a nice sunset. Check in easy. Felt a little chastised with all the notes about cleanliness. Owners must have had some bad experiences.

Property was so-so. The main reason for choosing this place was because it has self laundry facilities and the frontage view of lake Tekapo. Both kinda did not meet expectation. On arrival there was already a mix up in the booking. Initially, got the keys to a single floor unit with good view of the lake. First thing on check in, did 1st round of laundry after 4 days on the road. And left the laundry running, and check out the place & dinner. Came back from dinner & guess what.. another family was in the house. Peter (host) tried to explain the confusion as best he can.. apparently our booked unit is further up the road which the first floor. We quickly pack up our stuffs and took all our bags and the wet laundry.. something you don’t want to experience after a long drive. Other than the not so pleasant checking in experience, everything was ok. We get to continue the laundry at the lower floor. Bed comfy level probably 6/10 - too soft for comfort. Noise level ok

This property is lovely and a sun trap! The fire really heats the place up however there sufficient heating options if you don't want the fire. Quiet, secluded location amongst greenery. Definitely recommend!
