We rented for two months and were disappointed by the number of things in the unit that were unusable and needed to be replaced or repaired. The management service (VARE) was always friendly and responsive, but we found the number of times we needed to contact them to be inconvenient and burdensome. It’s not how you want to spend your vacation time.The first day we found the garbage disposal unusable because it was full of a broken glass. I tried to clean it out myself and got cut in the process, so called maintenance. The next days we realized one of the living rooms windows wouldn’t shut. It gets windy in the area and dust was blowing in. The sash on the window was broken and had to be replaced, involving two maintenance trips. The faucet in the second bathroom had to be replaced because the hot water tap would not turn off. Two more maintenance trips with repairs running into the evening. And significantly, the air conditioner died and had to be replaced, involving two more maintenance trip over many hours.The landscaping of Puerta Azul is lovely and we enjoy the location being next to the mountains.
