The good location also meant that it’s always crowded and noisy especially the fireworks at night which can be heard from the room. However it meant convenience staying right in the heart of Kuta and just above the mall. This is probably the main plus point. The other being the great service overall especially at the dining areas.
However, the hotel is jaded and needs a renovation and update in its room. The absence of some light points resulted in the room being quite dark at night. You won’t be able to brightly light it up to read a book etc. The design of the toilet is also not particularly good as the door of the toilet cubicle is shared with the shower is designed quite badly with both sharing the same door which means that you can only close one side. But I think my main problem is with the kids club, the toilet inside is filthy and the toys are mostly broken or incomplete. The staff doesn’t seem to be bothered. I think after all, the hotel isn’t as kids friendly as they marketed themselves to be. They are hardly prepared in terms of children utensils as well.
We stayed in a connecting family suite which was supposed to be garden facing but it was actually facing a square where they had a BBQ and buffet on Saturday night. I doubt we will return to the hotel again.
