Mum and I went there to celebrate her 86 years old birthday. The room was well decorated with complimentary birthday cake, fresh coconut and a birthday card. Staff at the hotel are very friendly, helpful and attentive. We had a very nice Sunday brunch at starfish Bloo with lots of seafood and all staff sang birthday song that made a memory birthday for my mum. Our honeymoon destination 7 years ago we got the urge to return. In the main it’s the same place, a little tired in the decor in our villa but what you get with the W Seminyak is great staff, superb food at Fire and at breakfast, beachfront hotel with plenty of deckchairs to sunbathe every day. The hotel is a short walk to places like NOAA and Bambu restaurants I would recommend too: the food in fire was really nice too. A lovely place. They’re renovating the bar area outside which was hidden by a Muriel painted fence and a little noise but not intrusive. Still remains a superb place to stay. We stayed in the one bed villa both times and loved the privacy and quietness.
