Best hotel I've stayed in awhile. Staff is a delight - when I arrived at 530am in the morning after a long night of travel, she passed me a bottle of water while I wait for check-in. She passed me a cup of tea while I wait for a taxi during the day. Hotel room amenities were great, more provided than a regular hotel - mouthwash, free snacks and drinks, even drinks in the fridge are free! Cleaning lady left a handwritten note wishing me a pleasant stay too.

Nostalgia is one of the best hotels we stay in China for the last 3 weeks that we have been travelling in China. Our family room was clean and has a mini bar with drinks and yogurts that were free, The hotel has thoughfully included items that are free to offer to guests from arrival with afternoon tea and supper, during stay wirh band-aids, hair bands, disinfectant tissues, masks, shoe cleaning cloth, earbuds, dental floss, microwave, coffee and teas. Other good hotel amenities are the 3 spacious lounges equipped with a game table and a gym. There is also a luggage room for storing luggage while travelling to nearby cities for short trips, which is handy for overseas travellers. The hotel is situated within a 10- 15-minute taxi ride to the CBD and within walking distance to a subway station, which is great. Across the road, there is a side street filled with street food hawkers. We would recommend anyone wanting to stay in a nostalgic hotel with easy access to the subway and not far from the city.
