"Outstanding location. Was able to check in before check-in. Reasonable price. Room was small, but not that different than many NYC hotel rooms. There are virtually no amenities. The room had a Mr. Coffee and a safe and a TV. That’s it. There is a pretty cool rooftop bar which opens at 5pm. Drinks are pretty expensive but you are looking at the Empire State Building! There is allegedly a gym but not sure where it is. Two very slow elevators, but they work, and there’s always the stairs. The only real issue was hot water and water pressure. We stayed on 14th floor and it took forever to get the hot water to come up. I had no issue with times I showered in afternoon or evening, but the one morning I tried showering the water pressure DISAPPEARED almost completely when I was covered in soap. I could tell it was because somebody else had tried to start taking a shower at the same time, because it would go come back, go off, come back, like somebody was playing around with the faucets somewhere. The bed wasn’t great, but I’ve slept on worse. I would stay here again because of the location and price I just wouldn’t plan to take any morning showers!"
