Plan a group getaway to the lake with this sunny lakefront retreat! The perfect home-away-from-home for you and your guests, this spacious escape is comprised of a main house plus a casita, giving it a fun, fishing cabin feel while providing you and your guests the privacy they desire. There is a boat dock you can use, so feel free to bring your boat or rent one nearby! Take a stroll down the pier and have a blast jumping into the gorgeous lake. After a full day on the water, relax under the shaded patio and watch the Texas sunset. There are also plenty of outdoor dining tables available for lakeside picnics! Take advantage of the lake for endless fun on and in the water! Fishing is allowed along the retaining wall and from the pier, so don't forget your tackle box. Rent boats and other watercraft from places like Splash Boat Rentals or Wave Chasers, each located within a couple of miles of home. Sample some local cuisine at one of the many restaurants in downtown Kingsland where you can also indulge in some retail therapy, or go on an exciting adventure and explore some unique underground hideouts at Longhorn Cavern State Park, less than 10 miles from your front door.

The Lone Star State is well-represented throughout the home and the cottage's inviting decor. Each space is equipped with handy kitchen appliances for preparing home-cooked meals. Cable-equipped TV is available for casual home entertainment. The main home's spacious open-concept living area ensures the group chef isn't left out when everyone is watching something on the TV. Meanwhile, the casita offers its own cozy living space for those desiring a bit more privacy. It features several beds for a comfortable night's rest, as well as a full bath with a walk-in shower for added convenience.

Additional perks include central air-conditioning in the main home and mounted units in the cottage. Cornhole are also provided for outdoor family fun.

THINGS TO KNOW
This home is not equipped with internet.
Due to the Hill Country location of our rentals, you may encounter situations with wildlife/pests. Please be aware of your surroundings, take caution while driving at night and supervise your children at all times while outdoors. In addition, all properties do utilize pest control maintenance on a regular basis, BUT this does not guarantee pests/bugs/critters will not be visible.


If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
